Sorry to say, most of the time this sort of thing doesn't work la. At the end of the day the company will launch whatever they want. Last time, I went for the Honda Freed survey. I knew it right from the start that this POS won't sell wan. Quite a few of the participants also commented that this thing was fugly. So what did Honda do in the end? Launch it anyway!

I think it's not that simple. They cannot just say don't sell the car, for this case, most probably they already planning to launch, the survey maybe to find out some other things, maybe what final adjustment they can do, what can they provide, the pricing point, etc. It all depends on the decision of the company which I have no idea, just guessing. The survey maybe able to help for future products.

Anyway, whether the survey result prove to be useful or not, it depends and up to the company and what/how they want to do with the result. Basically, this market research company job is to conduct this survey and provide their findings to the manufacturer.

As for our part, for those that meet the criteria, it's up to them whether they want to participate or not, there's no obligations, plus they get incentive and get to see and evaluate the 6 new car models.
What's important is, to give constructive feedback to the company, like what should they do/provide, especially for their future models. Just imagine if you're providing a product, you would not want feedback which is just complain, this is not to gather complain but to gather useful feedback.

No specific car company, they're doing for multiple company. There will be 6 new car model, I think one of it should be the Persona replacement model; there is one thread in LYN about it, a "bumblebee" yellow one which looks a bit like Honda (especially the headlight).

Yea... they only want hatchback; I think one of the model should be related, since there 308 is also a hatchback. Maybe they want hatchback user's survey.
