As a Collector, i own few SB cards (different account)
I participate in the - My starbucks gift to you- events on jul 24 night,
i give it a tried on all my cards (5) and send to my frens SB cards at the same time.
fortunately, i got 4 drinks in my own cards, and some of my frens got 2t o 3 drinks...

then today, all those rewards disappeared....

and i SHOCKED ... and saw one of a customer replied this in SB Facebook.

Alfred Lim:" kinda disappointed with this event, after my friends and I get a number of free drinks through this event, 1 call from Starbucks phone come and ALL our reward free drinks gone and become 0. They just told us that we can't get the free drinks like this and our rewards will be deducted. Your T&C do not state 1 card cannot get more than 1 free drinks, so how can you erase all our free drinks. And also the system did not make sure 1 card can get 1 free drinks, after we get more drinks, we send again to redeem the free drinks. Is because of the Starbucks' promotion failure or system failure that can lead to our rewards are being deducted? Haih....."

I called SB customers service after read this person fb comments, they did not apologize for this issue, only mentioned : we don't want customers to manipulate the events, and all the drinks already taken back"

True. SB most loses is only 1000 cups.
and we did not know whether we can get the reward or not initially, the systems credit 4 free drinks into my account was not my fault. vmad.gif
is SB systems and SB don't even stated any terms and conditions....

if they wanted to take back the extra 3 drinks, i'm okay with that, but now they taken all back.
When i Called and asked, the manager said so rude to me: " no more mentioning 1000 drinks, we don't want customers to manipulate it"
i felt myself like a robber....


stingy and stupid starbucks.

after finish all my credits in this card, i will stop buying anything from them.

Agreed.

As we did not expect that the system will rewards us so many drinks.
We also surprise tat get more then one free drink as a reward.

But. Without notice. They just take back all the free rewards.

To be fair. We can accept if they call and said system got problem. Everybody entitle to get one fre drink only. Then at least reward me one. Then really fair enuff.

I have total 4 cards. And my gf 3 cards.
Our initial is to collect different design cards but not manipulate starbucks system.

Each cards average get 2 drinks as rewards. Then i join them into one card.
So is total 14.

he doesn't understand what is Customers RELATIONSHIP and the theory of CUSTOMER IS KING....
If really want to SUE the company. i think this can WORK.

they just quietly took back 14 free drinks and 1 of my purchased tumbler free drink ,and 1 registration free drink.

if i did not call them. i think they will not giving back the other 2 drinks also.

conclusion is: Stupid event, Stingy Starbucks, brainless management.

and this lead to Bad REPUTATION...... doh.gif

i think this is one of the main problem.

but when i registered all these cards, my intention is not to manipulate their system. so i had no plan to put other name or other phone number >,<

not 14 cards.

total 4 in my name, another 3 owned by my gf.

starbucks not rewarding me by one card one free drinks.
the systems rewarded me one card 4 drinks, some 2 , some 1... total 14

use the remaining credit to purchase a drink on ur "registered" birthday month in order to get a slice free CAKE~

so keep this card, buy a new card, registered again with different email.... repeat these steps~

if Starbucks got buy one free one lagi worth!

i use RM10 to buy a shaken lemon tea (with tumbler discount rm2)
then got a free slice cake for my birthday + registered free grande drinks!

then change card next time~
i only top up to buy tumblers for my own "main" card~

U mean ur bifthdate on 25th?

If ur birth date on sept 25,
U can purchase one handcrafted beverage on anyday in sept. Then only entitled to get a free sliced cake.
U will see the free cake appeared on ur starbucks card system within 24hrs.
Then can redeem the cake any time before the month ended.
