u purchase a drink, then it got updated with free cake "star"
and then u can get the cake without any purchase

that's what it means by "get a free cake if you purchase a drink on your bday month"

before u ask me whether i've tried myself..

i think i did this..

bought new card, b'day is on that month itself....
1st use of card, not claim free drinks...straight buy drink from credit...

got the star..

next time go (i think in another month), redeem both free drink and cake at the same time

not really...i DID NOT and DO NOT NEED to purchase any drinks during cake redemption

not sure whether u need to pay a fee to get back a physical card...

but at the very least, the credits in the card will be returned to you..
now stop dilly dally and call the centre now..

if i found the card, first thing i will do is to get to the nearest starbucks to use all the credit before the owner report it....

if he can transfer the credit to his mini card..i dun think he's registering it under different email

i just bought a tumbler with starbucks card 2 weeks back (after the starbucks planner is launched).

nope...no star for the planner (or even that record about planner for my case as i never buy any drinks after promo is launched)

got the star for free drinks upon purchase of tumbler...as expected, though.

what's the point of buying 4 cards then?
except u r a collector....but still u can buy 4 cards first, register separately all, and use one card to collect for the planner for this limited period, then after that,

only enjoy ur free drinks from all 4 cards...
