I'm on the lookout for storage heater and have similar questions. Add another brand - HydroOne EcoHeater looks good also, just 1.5kW rating instead of the typical 3kW rating. Just need to know others personal experience with the product and aftersales service which is better?

sounds like rubbish to me.
science say that conversion from electric to heat is 100% efficiency.
so it will mean 1.5kw will take longer time to heat up.
i am using Hydroone 50L tank heater. I on 30min before i shower. i set the temp to roughly 70degree C and mixer half-half. No issue on not hot enough. However i am planning to set the temp to higher as the 50L is not enough for me to fill up the bathtub. Hotter temp might help to get good temperature for bathtub.science say that conversion from electric to heat is 100% efficiency.

Anyway the unit has leakage after installation, it is due to manufacturer's fault and it is rectified after i contacted their customer service. I cannot recalled how many days but appointment was made and rectification just took awhile. Basically the heater element unit was not installed tight enough.
