hye,

after days of reviewing/surveying and reading this whole thread..
i finally made up my mind to buy this camera...
initially was considering LX-5, G12 and G1x but somehow,it doesnt satisfied me in terms of reading peoples review and viewing peoples photo.. then i saw,X100 but that is so friggin expensive..as a substitute, i opt to x10..
bcoz of the apperture which is 2-2.8
so, do wait for me to join da'club..is there any suggestion on where to buy and can get the best package and price in klang valley??

Semi Welcome to join the X10 family rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I did what u did the same model comparison and end up with X10. X100 have all the great comment but not necessary suits some as it does not have zoom, if its one of the buying criteria.

U can check out some sellers on LYN to compare prices. U could also wait for existing stock with new sensor as doubt any new camera stock with new sensor unless its so laku, its short of supplies !!!! but mostly I guess, the existing stock would be replace with new sensor and re-sell it. try to find it out from local Fuji Malaysia.

Can attach into your post or use external link.

Finally got a call from the service center, saying they're gonna deliver my camera. Not bad. Just one week.

Not exactly the same exposure la bro. Same f2 aperture and ISO 100 but shutter speed is different. Not even the same angle, just taken from my seat for comparison sake. It's the only pic i kept to compare. tongue.gif

Others have reported similar results after sensor change. High noise level at
low iso in medium size. It seems to have changed EXR performance somewhat.
Some are going back to old firmware also. I am still on the old firmware and
sensor and quite happy with results i am getting.
hmm.gif warranty 3 mths left still dunno whether to change sensor or not rclxub.gif

If it's ok then don't.

I seem to be facing another problem. Since the lens & sensor combo is new it's pretty tight. And it's hard for me to get to f2 once i zoomed out and zoomed in again. Not impossible just harder than usual. rclxub.gif
