Hey, i need some help with my pre U thingy.. im very keen in studying medicine in the future.I know i got choices such as JPA and etc. But can I know the full procedure in fulfilling my dreams. For now, i cant hope on my trials as i know my result is not to what i expected. however, what are the options i have if i failed to get JPA. what can i do to get to be a medical doctor. and im very interested in doing it overseas. and financial wise im not capable of doing it without loans or scholarship.

in short, i just hope you guys will share with me some alternatives besides jpa to study medicine overseas with the help of loans or what so ever. =)

i will apreciate it.. thanks

You can enter STPM, ace in it and apply for local universities. That would save more compared with going to overseas, and it that does not work, with a very good STPM result, u can still go for local medicine programs in IMU, AIMST, PMC, Manipal, etc.

Bear in mind that JPA scholarship, u need to have straight As result and good co-curriculum achievement and places are limited.

Other source of funding would be corporate scholarship or scholarships offered by private institution. Heard that UTAR will be offering medicine programme in the future, so u would have more alternative and cost saving method to study medicine.

Regards~

Yeah, STPM is a great help. I can apply JPA using my STPM can't I? And what is good about doing it in Manipal etc? Does it make any difference in studying in a local Uni?

UTAR is offering medicine? That's great! Anyway, I can always do my Masters and specialist in stuffs in overseas right?

Sorry for bombarding u with loads of questions. Thank you =)
