Ya ig ot check the graph from yearly to daily trend. I know is increasing but no wvery high maybe will stagnant around this price. Not sure la.

But Im looking at 1 or 2 months trend for buy sell and gain of around 5%. If longer than that maybe better put in fd or do other stufff?

Cos might have risk lose money if keep too long.

Lets share your throughts.

Is this your investment comparison: 2 months 5% = 30% pa vs fd 3% pa?

You must be comparing the return based on your experience isn't? Can you share the investment that can generate 30% perannum without fear losing money?

Sharing is caring rclxm9.gif

hi, got 1question appreciate if any sifu here could help...
between ASB investment and gold investment which one would be better? why i see many people keep comparing between this both investment?
as i already have an ASB investment, benefit is i can say there is no risk (from previous history) and easy to liquidate.
anyone can expalin izit easy to liquidate physical gold? to whom and where?

My POV.

You should answer this first.

Gold down from USD800 to USD400 and maintain the price about 25 years before climbing back. Can you afford it IF it is happen again?
If yes, go ahead.

From 2008 till now, my physical gold give me paper profit 72% @ average 15% perannum.

Or else, max your ASB first. wink.gif

Our local retail price for gold never went down below Rm200 during the dips. I know cause i bought a pair of rings back then.

Bought bracelet for my wife for her birthday at Tomei 24/10 (second lowest dip during Sept-Jan), the price was RM189.

Problem is, she hate it..... doh.gif

The one you bought is most likely 22k gold. 999 gold cost around Rm200/g.

Haha... sorry, you are right, i bought 916 gold.

you can trade in and get yourself a gold ring. ^^

Yup…yup… you are right. Maybe I should exchange it and get a bar for me.
The strategy at that time was double edge sword. She will cook me a better food and I can get gold appreciation. But turn out, now I can only get the same food. sweat.gif

Back to gold investment.

Gold price is picking up and slowly become a hot potato again. Thus, people start buying it again but unfortunately when the price is at the high side.

What investor are we actually? Buying high and sell low? shocking.gif

Or majority of us had bought it during recent dip? thumbup.gif
