the way im looking at it , buyer buying Gold and keep is easy but when selling it's like losing more or not even as high as expected. it is even hard if sell in overseas. i wonder if u want to carry a gold out from the country and sell it there, just pray u don't get rob.

Warren buffet don't prefer gold as investment. He thinks it don't make good returns compare to buying crops field . What u Guys think , is he making sense or just a personal preference.

what did he meant when he said "Gold is a way of going long on fear... people more fear of what ...?? thus making more money??

Added on February 28, 2012, 10:43 amit do make sense when nothing terrible happen to the universe or global warming heading for apocalypse. gold is nothing and water and crops can become an instant value overnight.

in this chart, what it tell me is that the gold price can drop and maintain at low value for couple of years and the gold price may soon reaching it's peak . in year 2000 not far away, price actually stood at 400 ..

i start to see how slow this thing is... i still don't know why physical gold is worth it. imagine if banks everywhere are shut down due to apocalypse and u r holding a big gold bar ... what can u do with it ? r u going to carry with u in the pocket walking around looking to trade for a meal or water?? a piece of watch probably could get u a bottle of water but when time is so critical a gold bar probably means nothing at all.

just want to ask, if buying pamp swiss gold in physical , the price is quite different from the gold market rate . am i right?
