Sells: Buggy self-made ERP software.

I was hired as a MT for a while there. The bosses, Mr.Woo and Ms.Nancy says they want me to turn things around in the firm. Turns out all they care
about is to get more money from his victims that include Kencana Petroleum and many others. I quit as it is impossible to get more money
when the works given by clients also don't want to do or dilly -dally about it.

Apart from that. there is no contract of employment for every staff. Misses EPF payments. No annual leave or MC.
OT like crazy, but no OT payments. Salary also, lets just say work in retail shop also get paid more.

Subject: FW: 1ST ROUND INTERVIEW DETAILS
Hi,

I wish to inform that I won't be able to attend the interview. The reason being. I believe that the position offered does not correspond to the actual job. I did some research over the net and I found out that the company have been found wanting. I do thank you for the offer but I am actually looking for a carrier not door to door sales. Thank you.

Lol i think i go for for the same company, tho last time the name was Knighters D'enterprise. I shud hv known it, but being a fresh grads who still dont know his way i still went for the interview. The woman who call me for the interview sound so profesional and i guess i fell for it. She told me to look for King Crabs sign. I was so happy thinking that i would get a good job(was applying for event crew) I tot the job probably running around doing some event such as concert, roadshow, etc.

I still can remember, i was there early, around 11am but nobody around(bad sign), only one table around and just two seats! When i was there i saw the admin lady was playing with her MSN and i thought myself that it was very unprofessional of her (another bad sign).

I still remember the fugly guy (he really is ugly) who interview me, he talk very fast and doesnt really give me a chance to talk much. blah blah blah, when i intro myself, telling him that i involved in a lot of charity work during uni times, i saw his gleefully evil smile. lol

And then he told me about the company what the do( they promote stuff) including client such as Adidas(yeah rite), and he ask me that my interest is charity, but before i give my answer he cut the chase and say he gonna put me into charity team. He asked me to come for the next day for training-never know that this interview was very easy lol (another bad sign),btw his english sucks too! another very bad sign! He asked to wear casual wear, a comfortable shoes! And i was like for real???

Anyway i just came the next day, but i came kinda late. around 10mins. So i missed their so called "team cheers" but i still can hear them from the outside anyway. It kinda a strange feeling that i get when i hear them cheering, very tadika-ish and lame. After that i was assigned two seniors that would trained/brainwash me. I was kinda shocked when i saw them coming out from the room carrying a bag with them, and i was like, OMG!!! is this the thing that i'm gonna sign up for? And i was like WTF???? but i kept my cool anyways.
My seniors ask me where is the place that has lot of people. And i was like how the hell would i know?? im not local. but i just suggested that we just go to klcc anyway. On the way to klcc by tren i can felt her fake friendliness during our conversation, very tak tau malu punye. I still remember her name was Micky. She did ask me strange question like "Do i have gf, do i have BF?!!! " what kind of person ask others whether they have bf after they asked whether they hv gf?! Lame question. Then she explain that we need to sell all the stuff in the bag! and it will proceed to charity. But she also told me that the job very good one and the pay is good too, some of the payment proceed to their paycheck! only little goes to charity. Anyway after i know the whole thing i just telling them straight that i dont want the job, and just ditch them at klcc anyway. Lesson learn! My other friend told me that he even joined them for whole full day and didnt come on the next day. lol

2. Btw, regarding Marcus Evans, it is actually a legit company. not scam one. It actually sales oriented company although their website say that they provide bussiness intelligence. I worked there before as sales exec (telesales to be precise) and as the name suggest they sell through the phone. The company actually organize event such as conference, training, (think like International water forum, or Engineering conference or hr training) and sale the event to MNC company such as Petronas, Shell, Maybank, etc. Basic salary quite low at RM1500, but the commission is very high. usually 10% up to 22%. Bear in mind that the ticket for such event are quite expensive, some even USD3000. so imagine the commission if you close a lot of sales.

Anyway just like other sales company, the work pretty much stressful and tension as you have to hit the target. anyway it was good experience btw. The only thing i like about the company was every 3 months they would party like hell. Our manager usually booked redbox, order 2 bottled of chivas and happy hour till we drop on company ofcourse. only that i like lol.

3.Anyway i was stumble on this post as i was researching for company call APPCO. Thank goodness i found this company. My ex-colleauge from Marcus evan (she was the admin that time not in sales team) asking me to come for her company interview. At first i thought it was a good offer, but then luckily i found this thread. I should have been suspicious when she approach me ( we all dont really like that much-she was kinda fussy. and she hate cat tooo!!!!!) and ask me about my job currently. rupa2 ada udang di sebalik mee. lol. She told me that she and her professional colleague are at Menara MAA at Agryl road there. She didnt even tell me the name of the company, just say it affiliate with APPCO group.

So now i wont go for it haha. Sorry for the long post hahaha.

Just for the job seekers out there..do not join any appcogroup company if u want a future.. Ive worked with a company in jb for few months..They scam people with different job position but all the same indeed...1st short interview..then they will call you for 2nd interview...then field work..you will need to follow them to the field work and observe....1 trainer will be with you when u start working....no basic pay only commission based...if u want basic ur sales target will impossible to achieve(trust me)..they will pay you weekly and there's a bond they will cut from your pay weekly(WTF?!!)...and u can only earn about max rm200 per week(if ur good at sales)...their product is WWF(which people need to contribute on a monthly basis using their credit card...trust me its pain in @ss) hujung bulan kita makan pasir....Ive seen so many degree holders standing in the sun infront maybank, hsbc asking for donation...hmmm....avoid them now b4 its too late...and getting back ur bond money from them is pain in the @ss...they are very good at brainwashing...beware
*
Never follow 5 steps and 8 steps properly...CC and donation need to follow LOA (law of average). Every 'NO' is closer to a 'YES'

5 steps and 8 steps method can always be use in the future. Count it as a free sales training. Not like as if APPCO ask you pay money to join. It was good experience for me but in the end, it was not meant to be.

PS. was earning 3x more then you that time.

Home Typist Job/Home Based Job

Information
Most of us here in LYN would have come across such jobs "Home Typist", "Part time jobs, home typist" and "Work from home" jobs ...

Well, I for one, believe all of these are crap ... I'm not referring to freelancers doing web design in SOHO style, but I'm directly referring to those who are "offering" such job such as home typist, surf for us, data entry for us and etc jobs ...

There are a few reasons I am saying these are potential scam ... If you happen to spot any one of this reason, then you should be on the look out ..

1) You don't need to pay anyone anything to start working with them, hey, they are employing you, so YOU should be paid ... Not the other way round

2) You just need to send them an email saying "Hey, I'm kinda interested, can I have more details?" Then immediately, you'll get the email saying, "Congrats, you have been choosen to xxxx" ... If you ever been to an interview, even for a waiter, do you seriouly think that you can get such jobs so easily just by few liners? No interview? No nothing?

3) Money is indeed tempting, but look at this ... If I am doing business and my business is surviving, will I be paying someone RM1000+ weekly/monthly to do surfing, data entry, typiing and etc jobs for me ... ? The right minded person would have paid RM800 for a clerk to SIT at the office and do all the jobs ... They told you they are outsourcing from foreign companies ... Haha ... Joke again ... Giving a 3rd party information that are related to a business is a no-no, the right minded business person will try their best not to disclose any information of their business ...

4) Last but not least, just to provide people here some hints, home based jobs, if they are related to typist, surfing the internet and other easy jobs .. I can assure you 90% and above are frauds and scam ... the rest would pay you very lowly, perhaps RM50+ or so for tons of work (not typist job though, it's for keying in balance sheet, translaating and proof reading and so on and so forth)...

Please be aware that money is everywhere and not hard to find, but in the same time, there's no "easy" money in this world ... You gotta fork out the same amount of effort for the same or less amount of money smile.gif

Here's some site to refer to as this scam is pretty famous in LYN ...

The phone number you provided is the SAME with the phone number provided by the famous pay me RM380 to work Dr. Lim ... And there's already discussion about that Dr. Lim is fraudalent ...

What I am trying to state here is, your post is highly similar to all other post found above, including email and phone number..

Besides, a PO box address doesn't prove anything ...

Lastly, RM1000+ weekly potential income (found in all of the site) are basically impossible based on the job scope ... If this is real, many would have already quite their current RM2000 paying job and join this job instead ...

thank you so much for sharing this, i was gonna hand in my resignation letter tomorrow, but after i have a chat with my customer that has 20 years of marketing experience, he told me something that i would never imagine... and after some flash backs what i see in the company and the process of interview, they really do the brainwashing process very very "professionally".

X-Treme Dimension Sdn. Bhd.

First Interview:-
For my personal experience, i went for the first and second interview, the first one was surprisingly super fast, only last for less than 10 minutes, by that time i have my doubts up, and after few hours, they call me and say congrats, i have been shortlisted, and been invited for 2nd interview, and so... same as some of the members here, i'm in need of a good pay to help me lighten my burdens.

Second Interview:-
Things finally got way professional as it should be, they bring me out for field observation, and show me how the operation works, it's quite simple actually, but it's kinda sad at the same time after some imagination of me doing it myself, they told me i will join under the UNICEF team, and after that they bring me to a cafe shop, sit down and have a freakin long chat about our future, pay, working hours and so on, and after that he sketch a list of how will i be paid, to make it simple, he written 1 week = 12 apps = RM 980, means 1 month you will earn RM 3920, ain't that great? All you need to do is "beg" the customer to sign up for the UNICEF application, and till the end he made up some "mythical" human being name as "Ken", he said he's in Kuching doing a roadshow now, earning 20k per month and he's about 20 years old, and i got my doubts up even more by this time, cause salary should be a private and confidential bla bla bla, should not be told and share with everyone that easily... this story is getting very long... but i've cover most of the things, hope this helps.

Btw, they told me the managing director of this company is "Timothy", we had a long chat and he told me he's from Brunei, and sounded very enthusiastic 24/7.

Wish everyone good luck in searching for a new job & career !!
Beware of scammers and cheaters !!

I worked as a part-timer for a company Eventant during the Hari Raya season as a promoter last year,
I was informed that the promoters will be pay within 2 months
it's March now, more than 6 months now and i still haven't see a single cent.

I was informed that i will be pay less than promised ((RM910 instead of the original promised 1080)
I was also being informed that some of my "colleagues" who work alongside me were to be pay RM200 only, RM880 short and was told to wait for it.

I was asked for a black and white paper which the following link can be the prove that we are not being pay or paid properly
note that the second post as the original post
References: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1507385

they're also a few complains made by other promoters in their facebook.

I had also posted the incident in the forum http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry40376185 last month

What should i do.

I'm very glad upon myself after reading all the posting regarding this **** and that ****. Everything is scam and the people along with it also the most scum of the 10 yrs.

People should aware the location of Golden Triangle in Lembah Klang [Imbi Plaza, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Ipoh and such] were all full of crap and scum. 90% in newspaper ads and internet ads are full of bluffing and cheat so just be aware of them. Before do what is your right, dig out the company 1st before submit yourself for interview. After seeing previous report and sad one, maybe I should do part time job in TESCO & Fast food area.

Yeahh! the job is tough and tiring and type of 12 hrs working condition but It did save your gut, money and time.

guys, a lesson to be learned... always insist on official OFFER LETTER before you resigned in your previous company or turn down other offers and most importantly make sure you have and insist to have an EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT with your new company... many company especially chinaman company will take advantage of you i.e. not eligible to increment, bonus, leave etc...!

Good morning to all, I receive a resume release request from this company: SuccessCorp Venture / SuccessCorp Enterprise for Sales & Marketing Exec. I can't seem to find any information about their company (no website), also don't have the name of the interviewer. You can view the ad here: http://www.jobstreet.com.my/jobs/2010/9/de...136612.htm?fr=J.

Anyone have any experience or are currently working here, I'm just afraid is another scam. Your feedback is appreciated, thanks.
They asked me to interview next week too, anyone know bout this company? I browse through the net, they post their job everywhere, look like another scam...
Anny feedback because they ask me for interview on next week... icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

its not a scam company, just tht the ad on jobstreet is a little misleading! decided to go for the interview to see whts the company about.. it is actually an oursource insurance agency dealing with savings plan..

its a recruitment drive.. they dont pay you basic salary as stated on their ad of 5k-8k payout.. its purely commission base as the rest the insurance agencies..
