Not really lousy, but then what i can say thats its poorly design for a modern world we are living now.. Its not environmental friendly, runs only well in high RPM (not practical during 90% of ur driving time), no valve lift like CPS etc.. So if u compare with other engines we are actually backwards a lot..
And eventhough yeah u can bring out a lot of power when u mod it, but whats the point of spending around 10k to mod something up when u can just spend extra 15k, get a Inspira 1.8MT which is much much more superior than our PE 1.6AT?
Our gearbox sucks like hell.. Highest transmission lost I have ever seen in any gearbox so far.. almost 32% transmission lost.. So no point modding up the engine so much, in the end 30% is down the drain.. Thats y i stopped modding my PE and planning to save up the money for my next car instead.

Overall for a 50k car, its very reasonable.. It has better handling that any car in its price range and better than most of it in its segment. So thats where ur 50k worth of dough is..

Sini here TS bagi stop all discussion bout Inspira and PE.. Whatever reason that it started.. Probably high with ibumie seasoning.. But then no point comparing again..Go compare with Forte 1.6, Vios 1.5, City 1.5 and Fiesta 1.6.. Thats are the car in the same performance category.
