Problem 1: Knocking sound when cornering on uneven surface coming from Front RHS
Causes:  This is due to the power steering fluid delivery piping knocking against the metal pipe and the body underneath it as the uneven road causes it to twitch up and down.

Solution: Proceed to Proton SC to claim warranty for Power Steering fluid assembly. Claims are FOC, including the power steering fluid.
Parts list they will change for this new power steering assembly.

Does this problem still applies to all new PE and need to go SC to claim??

That 1 have to check whether did they replaced for you already or not because every batch is different.

Hi guys. My 3 yr old pe recently giving me some problems....1st, during hot days...engine temp will go up around 100+ degree but car seems to be ok. Worse case, air cond will cut off if temp run too high. Sent to sc but they didn't has a clue what cause the problem. Second thing, car seems o be choking when accelerate near 3000rpm, engine light will lit sometime....anyone encounter this kind of issues?

hmm...i thought all sc should have the ecu diagnostic thingy....

Damn. Spent about RM 600 on 2 full tanks of Ron 97 petrol, toll, and another additional RM 100 on PDRM today. Distance travelled, about 600 KMs. Left a little bit more than 1/2 a tank of petrol in the car, which means my FC is around 21L/100KMs.
Our B-Pillar is not left unpainted. It's actually covered up with 3M high quality black sticker. I know this because I recently sent the PE for a repaint & mudguard job, they removed the sticker and it exposes the body paint. So probably your neighbour got shortchanged instead
Not as bad as my brother in law's Myvi. Roof got a big, deep dent from a fallen tree limb. Baru kena yesterday.

1 car RM 100. Got another 2 cars paying RM 100 each also. Remove the sticker la. But if you remove the sticker & visor, the car look really ugly. Very.. sorta botak.
Haven't count the trip for tomorrow yet.

Came back without wedding car mah. Only 3 cars.

Crazy la.. This trip kurang kurang makan me RM 1.5k.. 2 days.. Hotel + expenditures + petrol & toll..

The R3 rim comes with 8 holes, PCD 100/114.3. The standard 4 hole version as seen on R3 Neo is PCD 114.3.

Well.. I used to be like that too.. But after driving different, real, purpose-built performance cars.. I snapped back to reality already..

Seriously, how fast do you think you can actually go in a Myvi without defying the law of physics?

That's why performance mods doesn't actually work on me now..

Belum sampai KL? XD Not to say that you cant do performance mods lah.. You can.. I personally think the extra torque gain & lowered FC is well worth it.. But only in the long run, if you're gonna keep the car for a very long time to come.. Extractor ah? Go for cap ayam lah.. Just make sure the O2sensor positioning is correct, and everything would be fine.. Any half-assed extractor would definitely give you gains over stock manifold..

Well come to think of it, most Myvi drivers are young or in their college-age. Many parents would buy their children Myvis, simply cos it's smaller, easier to park, 'cuter' and more age-appropriate. It's not like I don't know richer kids who are driving Polo 1.2, Honda City/Civic or better cars to class everyday, but Myvi seems like the more affordable & sensible choice for parents.

And everyone knows how it feels like to get their first car after getting their license. Guys, especially. Drive fast, daredevil stunts, all just because we want to be known to the world that the P sticker on our windshield stands for 'Professional' instead of 'Probationary'. Yet, when it comes to corners or complicated driving situations, these newbies don't know how to handle them because of the lack of driving experience. So they'll choose either:

A (Kiasi style). Brake hard from 150KM/h, enter the corner at 30 KM/h, and then accelerate again, or;
B (Kiasu style). Hantam through the corner at 150KM/h, then turtle at the exit of the corner.

Admit it, you've been there at some point of your life before.

so bad of you.... myvi not that bad loo... drove my exgf myvi last time.... quite good loo... somemore higher than other car...doing something also ppl cant see..

I like myvi... except for the cornering... really bad, especially coming down from Genting... scary wei....

Nop. Last time I checked I hope its cheaper than dura-edge. See see around same price. So expansive how to buy, later got stolen just like that.

Complained to the SC that when pumping petrol, always kick back. Then she said will ask the guy check. So in the end he changed the whole lubang area. So went to pump petrol to test and...
Still the same...

Car baru 8 month old, still got warranty.

However, maybe he did not saw the Check Engine Light, so told me gonna pay RM64 for request diagnosis
