Hi guys.. this is my first time ever of making aa booking. I have picked a hot seat before I realise I can still have my own preferred seat without taking those hot seats.

So now, If I downgrade my seats from hot seats to standard seats, will they refund me back?

For domestic flight, I saw many 'real' free seats (not including tax). But for international flight, I'm yet to see anyone claim they really got RM0 for the seat. Most probably, free seats for international flight does not exists at all, but I would be glad if someone can prove me wrong, so I can start trust AA again.

AA is hiding increased prices under the Airport Charges & Fees

The tax goes to MAHB sdn bhd. So, you got to ask najib, why it did that.. Taking advantage of AA sales?

Will an auto-assigned seat change later on ?
Eg. Check on Aug is different seat check closer to departure date ?
*
it should be randomly assigned during check in. So, if you check in at different time, you'll get different seat. Probably, the later you check in, the further you'll be seated at the back.

I'm in trouble... I booked a flight for the next year's school holiday in march. Booking confirmed already, return trip. Then suddently, yesterday BN announce they want to increase school days next year, and they also changed the school holiday's date. The school holiday's date has been announce in gomen website. Now, If I changed my flight, i had to pay twice the amount. Not worth it and I can't afford it as I book a flight for a whole family.

Any of you have the same trouble like me... ? Book for school holiday flight during previous AA promo flight, and then, Gov changed the holiday calendar..

but i already enter the passport no instead of ic no. is it ok?1st time buy ticket online sad.gif

ic no is for local flight. passport no is for international flight. so, what you did is right. however, you can still change the passport or ic number anytime, in case you renew your passport or you entered the ic no incorrectly.

Infant don't need a ticket as your kid won't occupy one seat but share with one of you.
Kids below 2 years old fly for free !!!
*
can you confirm (or if you have a link even better)? the probem is that according to the AA customer service, even below 2 years i need to pay RM50 for the infant ticket
*
Both of you are correct. Infant don't need a ticket. No separate ticket will be given. It just that the guardian must pay RM50 charges for bringing in infant. Just like a luggage, no separate ticket for a luggage, but you got to pay some fees for bringing in luggage.

I can't remember there's a RM50 infant ticket now....

AA has a lot of customers now. They're no longer as desperate as before.
I'm paying RM50 for my infant too. According to them, if you don't declare you're bringing in infant during you ticket purchase, they'll stop you at the gate and will ask you to pay!.

ok, at least i know someone here has had experience with the infant purchase. can i find out how you declared your infant previously? my situation was slightly complicated because my child wasn't born yet when we bought the tickets and we were advised to register him only after he was born.
*
When purchasing a ticket, as usual, we must specify the number of adults, childrens and infants.
Eventhough we buy a ticket for an infant, all the system does is adding RM50/trip to your total charge. The real tickets are only issued to adults and childrens only.

And for the infant, i think it can be added later, just like a luggage or meal options. They can be added later.

can we change the name for an infant.. I remember last time, when I booked a ticket, in the infant name column, it automatically written with my name only and I couldn't change it.

Today,I tried to make a dummy booking, and it appears I can put the infant name.

Now I wonder whether I should go through the hassle of changing the passenger name (for my infant only), or whether it is fine to leave it like that. what do u think?

Hi, I made a double payment due to system error. Refund is valid by AA but now almost 2 month pass, still no news. Anyone has any experience on how long it would take to get back the refund?
*
do you use a credit card? if credit card, usually, you have to wait for 2 billing cycles (wait until you receive your second bill after the refund is approved)

guys.. is it okay if the name of the ticket had a misspelling. I asked them to fix my kids name. Previously, it was wrong. They fixed it, but, it still not 100% correct. It is supposed to be "Muhammad" XXX bin XXX, but they wrongly fixed it as "Mohd" XXX bin XXX. Can I just ignore the spell, or do I really have to contact them again to have them fixed it again?

tq.
