QUOTE(gsJackMin @ Oct 29 2012, 01:29 AM) last few years I managed to book hongkong only rm150 inc tax, and last year to gold coast rm500+ per person...... those really free seats, but tis time really tipu la The HK route is already established & thus not necessary to throw low price to attract passengers. If u want to talk last few years, in 2010 I flew to Macau for RM25 flat.

QUOTE(gsJackMin @ Oct 29 2012, 02:02 AM) dude, there is a difference between free seats & normal cheap ticket sale..... its not bout throw price or not, if they advertise free seats then it should mean that we only pay airport tax, otherwise what is free seat? There're free seats. Just not on every route. I'm sure u'd taken enough AA flights to understand their marketing gimmick.

QUOTE(bearbear @ Oct 29 2012, 02:14 AM) phuket vs krabi, which is the better choice? Just need a break from work - relax and chill at nice soft beach. Krabi is more laid back. Some say it's like Phuket, 10 yrs ago. Slightly cheaper as well. Alternately, u can fly to Phuket & reside @ Phang Nga bay instead.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 20 2013, 09:50 AM) Is is true that the system will set it such a way that buying a return ticket is cheaper than one way? Thanks Yes, during certain promo period. One can only get the advertised promo price when buying return tix. When u search for 1 way, the price is different, eventhough same day, same flight.

i notice the fee is fix and cannot be refund so wonder it can be reuse on other item pls advice As mentioned by stimix. Upgrade can. Downgrade no. So I've made a habit of buying tix without any add-on or meal. While doing so 24 hours b4 flight if necessary.

QUOTE(Nekochan @ May 24 2013, 03:55 PM) Will like to ask a question? I'm going to korea in sept and is it possible to check in for the return flight as well in LCCT? don't bother about web check-in & print boarding pass when u're outside of M'sia (well maybe except Thailand & Indonesia). u'd still need to Q to get the actual boarding pass & check-in luggage. if u have a smartphone, do a mobile check-in b4 heading to the airport suffice.

QUOTE(Funeyou @ May 31 2013, 09:02 PM) wanna ask, lets say my name is peter chow yun fatt, but i oni key in Peter Chow, is it acceptable? Not only the airline can deny you from boarding. Even immigration won't let you through. Whatever your fullname in passport/ic, just enter it accordingly. Don't try to be funny.

QUOTE(bradshaw6861 @ Jun 10 2013, 12:42 PM) May i know if anyone has encountered problems that airasia change the travelling date on your behalf without informing you by any means? I booked a flight last year and i still keep the itineraries (HKG - CRK - KL) of 2 different flight tickets.. AirAsia literally just changed the travelling dates. i was supposed to leave HKG on 26 July 13 and leave from CRK on 29 July 13. I checked my booking online recently and they changed the date to 27th July and 31st July 13. I don't mind if they change the date but because i have another flight to BKK on 31st. Now they totally clashed. Can anyone share your experience? Thx check if the original flight which u booked, are they still available. if no, means the flight's cancelled. then only decide.

QUOTE(bakbudix @ Jun 17 2013, 02:37 PM) so if I want to cancel the promo ticket can I? u can change the date, by paying the fare difference + changing fees. if somehow the new date u chose, the fare is lower, probably u don't need to top-up. but forget about getting ur balance back (if any). cancel = burn, as simple as that.

I usually carry by laptop in a backpack instead of those shoulder ones. Will it be considered a laptop bag or a cabin bag ? When someone query, just say u have a notebook inside.

Name change not possible. U can however change the date, fare difference + penalty applicable. Else, consider it burnt.

QUOTE(__mill @ Aug 16 2013, 04:14 PM) guiseee, a quicky question : when do AA normally send out notification/alert on flight delay for our flight schedule? Depends. If it's a reschedule, I'll receive email + sms as soon as they amended the time. Then approx 1 month b4 flight date, another email/sms. I even received phone calls from AA Thailand & Philippines, 1 day b4 flight to remind me of the time change. Last time when AA was still flying to London. I received the notification email 1 day ahead, I sms my mom telling her the flight delayed by 4 hours. But she didn't see the msg & went to the airport as planned. AA ground staff presented her with an apology letter + GBP20 meal voucher. However, the guest who knew about the delay & subsequently went to the airport later, wasn't given the same treatment. But there's also once I wasn't notify at all. When I reached the airport & check for the flight on the info board, only I realised the flight's delayed by an hour.

QUOTE(acevent @ Sep 17 2013, 09:25 AM) Hi I am new here. This time no more free or cheap flight. I suppose want to go Chengdu Apr 2014 but can not get any cheap flight. The most cheap also atleast RM576 per pax. Some more not include others like baggage, food insurance, access fee etc. Airasia now really "kill" its royal customers. RM576 is the lowest fare for return flight to Chengdu in this promo already what. Among the figure, RM32 + RM110 goes to the airport. If there's a cheaper alternative, go for it. Consumer need not be loyal.

QUOTE(bearbear @ Sep 17 2013, 01:50 PM) Correct me if i am wrong If the system display show its the lowest rate - then you can check the fare charged. Most international route does not have 0 fare ticket. May I add. Check the full destination list. The all-in lowest fare is written there clearly. So u can gauge whether it's worth ur time.
