Hey you guys, just a word of warning about AirAsia policy of purchasing tickets at different times for the same flight, do not share a bag even with your wife, it is their policy to charge you for the extra weight.

Here is a brief of my story that I believe bordered on discrimination against disabled passengers, (I broke my kneecap after purchasing tickets).

My original plans were for me to travel alone but I acted upon AirAsia's advice to book an extra ticket for my wife and subsequently got penalised for it. Apparantly I am not allowed to share a bag with my wife if we did not purchase the tickets at the same time. So here I was on crutches listening to check-in staff saying I must pay for the extra weight or not be allowed on the flight. They seriously thought that I should have burdened my wife with 2 bags when I am temporarily disabled & cannot help her carry them. They could not accept this was an exceptional circumstance & show some common sense by allowing the combined weight for our baggage. An unbelievably inflexible attitude!

I would like to add that this did not happen in Malaysia, but we both travelled from Penang to KL & then onto Stansted & received fantastic customer service from AirAsia staff, and no, we did not have to pay extra for our shared baggage in Malaysia, this only happened on the return leg to KL.

means that the luggage, seats, food and misc things are set at fixed price and never change even though we book last minute?
if this true, I'll follow this advice whenever I made future reservations

hey guys if i book an airticket but all the correct details eg: name, passport, dob and such but with the wrong salutation, eg meaning suppose to be Ms. but accidentally put Mr.

i booked my flight to CRK on Apr 2013. Was informed by friend that the flights, both flight go and return were missing in the flight schedule.

I did not get any notification from Air Asia. What should i do now?

Write in complain? or shall just wait call from AA?

dammit. lucky not yet book any hotel, else banyak troublesome!

Hi Guys, I had done a booking just now, but i didn't login to my account to do the booking, how can i sync the newly booking ticket into my exisiting AA account?

Also, when i purchased ticket, the address there, it seems i put some duplicated info edi, will that be a problem ?

AirAsia is cheap 4years back, but not now. Now its better for us to keep an eye for MAS.! I even got a return flight to Taiwan with MAS for just rm197~~;-))

Just got my London one way ticket for Rm1200~~ With Mas also.. Last few weeks i even saw MAS got promo with just rm90 for KL-Kota Kinabalu for just rm90!..

So? Haha.. I would go for MAS.. Eventhough got around 10k Big Points but i cant use it for anythings..@@" All the flight that redeemable is 20k points++ or some after redeem with points add on all the tax it still costy.@@"

Go for MAS and collect Enrich Miles even better. Haaha.
