I don't know if most of the passengers realize this or not but just to be safe. AirAsia Tickets Name Change Annulled for tickets bought after 1 November 2011.

Here's the official link. AirAsia Name Change Annulled

The 10cents seats timing also so crazy one. 12am flights. @@

Yeah. I've got a 6am flight back from Bali. This the first from AA that I've got to buy so early. Luckily staying at Club Med so I think they can arrange for me. Wanted to book for July but ended up in Sept. Got kicked out 4 times. sweat.gif

For flight to Australia and NZ, the web check in notes DOESN'T work as valid boarding pass (I have checked airasia website)

The counter to drop n stamp I know where is the area but you know LCCT likes to give people surprises !
*
+1, this is the case for some of the flights of AAX. My 1st trial with AAX was a short trip back to NZ last year. You'd have to be there so that they can issue you a "certified" piece of paper. Have to be there earlier though.

But yeah, (just to rant) some of the guys in LCCT could not just show some courtesy at all. If they want to work in the customer service industry, they should have expected the stress level especially working for airline companies. As a frequent flyer, the standard of "courtesy" of some of the guys in LCCT is just unbearable. In a simple word, rude. shakehead.gif

Digitalz!~ i really need your advice on this.

How earlier were you there for you to get the "certified" piece of paper for your NZ trip?

As my flight to Melbourne depart at 10.30p.m, the counter will close at 9.30p.m SHARP.

My working hour end at 6.30p.m so my plan will be, web check in then make myself there by 8.30p.m.

Do you think I can make it right in time to get the certified piece of paper (I guess this is the APP)
*
Like someone mentioned earlier, you dare to bet on the traffic of KL? This, I don't.

FYI, I was there earlier by more than 3 hours as I dropped by from KLIA coming back from one of my other trips. 1st trial on AAX going back to NZ straight after my trip.

Also, normally it's 3 hours before the flight as in the last hour, they'd close up the counters for good. Better be safe than late.

From what I remember, no more changes can be made after online check-in. That's why it's not recommended to check in wayyyyyy too early.

Long time no come in but there's something to add. 4 hours prior flight from the last time I checked with their counters. Didn't take AA for quite sometime now.

Better buy first just to be safe. Changes after web check-in cannot be changed if I remembered correctly.

RM6 for the seats. Haha. I've tested without buying seats and me & my buddy got separated. One in front, one at the back. Lol

That's why now, I'd buy seats just to be safe. (Unless I fly solo which I always do.)

Hey guys, may I ask how should I deal with metallic or electronic stuffs like keys, charger, etc. Also stuffs like canned sweets. Can I put them in my cabin luggage? How tight is the security check at LCCT anyway.

P/S: First time boarding an airplane.
*
Keys, chargers should be alright. Well, there's my luggage keys anyway. Lol. Canned sweets - No problem as well. The security check in LCCT - No sharp items allowed (scissors, knives etc etc)

0 fare is just marketing gimic. There is 0 fare but certain flight or certain destination only.

Maybe per year there might only be 5 free seats per destination.

In reality, international I have not seen even one 0 fare b4. Domestic all the time during the sales promo.

Hope this helps.. So some ppl like think it's like cheating and misleading consumers but it's just all marketing strategy to attract ppl.
*
Lol. Got. To places like Bali etc. One way only. The other, the charge you. lol.
