The D7 CEO said it's nothing but a plain rumor but it is no secret that the load to New Delhi and Mumbai is very bad. Those Indian airlines and even Malaysia Airlines are doing much better than Air Asia X on these sectors. So don't be surprised if they really do drop these routes in the near future.

a lil bit of confusion here guys. I have booked my flight before 22 December but i am flying on the 28th. If I want to check in manually, do I still need to pay up the RM 10 check in fee? Or free for those who booked their after 22nd of December?
*
International or Domestic flight ? For international flight, you do not have to pay for the check in fee. If you have already prepaid for it, you can submit a refund request.

Its an international flight to Macau booked before they made the announcement of waived check in fee
*
No. You don't have to pay for it should you decide to check-in over the counter.

No. You can't. You can't change change your name either even if it is a regular ticket.

Guys ,can teens under 16 travel without an adult?Because i was Thinking of going to Singapore after PMR with a bunch of friends but none our parents are following
*
It's not a problem. However, you guys may face some problems when checking into a hotel. Some hotels are quite strict with the age issue. Not too sure about hostel though.

Is it?I was just planning to book Mandarin Orchard Hotel from agoda.com/booking.com
*
WOW! So rich of you guys sweat.gif

Anyway, it all depends on the hotel. When i just finished Form 5 (17-year-old only then), i did manage to checked into Le Meridien Hotel (since rebranded as Concorde Hotel) which is also located in Orchard Road without any above 18-year-old present and the room was booked under my name. So i guess it all depends on the hotel but there are some hotels that specially say that you have to be at least 18-year-old to check-in into their hotel.

Hi anyone can show me a link showing we can bring more than 100ml into hand carry baggage for domestic flights? e.g. KL to Langkawi smile.gif
*
I don't have the link but i can tell you confidently that you can bring as much liquids as humanly possible for all domestic flights as the 100ml restriction doesn't apply for domestic flights. I've been flying between East Malaysia and Peninsular Malaysia once a month since year 1999 and am still doing it now biggrin.gif

If the flight is empty, AA (and other airlines) don't really care.
*
Not on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines though. They are pretty strict about that and just in case the Economy Comfort Class isn't full, they will still try to sell it to you before airborne.

I search for flight in Jun/July 2013 for the following destination but all are unavailable or sold out...
VTE
MAA
CGK
CCU
JOG
HKG
SGN
BAK
RGN
CMB

How can it be...?

Btw I found another flight from Hatyai to Bangkok return for only RM64.... I think that's their meaning for domestic flight..
*
That's because reservation for ALL international flights are not open yet. Domestic flight means flights such as Kuala Lumpur-Penang, Bangkok-Phuket etc.

The tax goes to MAHB sdn bhd. So, you got to ask najib, why it did that.. Taking advantage of AA sales?
*
The Airport Charges & Fees stated on their booking engine are for airport tax (payable to MAHB) and fuel surcharge (goes to Air Asia).

In a nutshell, the airport tax did not increase. Fuel surcharge is the culprit here biggrin.gif

No worries! Ask your dad's doctor to issue a letter clearly stating that your dad is unfit to travel and Air Asia will give you a full refund smile.gif

It is true that no more name change allowed since sometime last year. Air Asia did notify its customers on its mailing list too.

i just purchased Airasia ticket using Big card redemption..
from KUL-ICN i paid 1200 for 2 pax return..is this consider cheap ?

Very very cheap! MAS was selling RM1,200 for a return ticket per person during the MATTA Fair sale.

I would like to ask, how do you guys know your departure gate number if you have done web-check in and no luggage check-in. AFAIK, the display at LCD signage only show the check-in counter info. However, when I went to the counter, the staff was not happy and said I don't have to go there at all and wrote down the gate no on my web-check in paper.
*
Not happy simply because of this ? Man... life must be super hard for the said Air Asia staff biggrin.gif

Anyway, my dad told me he always checks his flight gate number after the security check on the TV.

Email them as written in the text message you posted above. Or you can visit their ticket counter. But since it is an August flight, i think email should do as it's not like you're in a rush to sort things out.

Just received an email from them. They allow us to change our flight to a day earlier or change to morning flight. Just wondering, do they always cancel midnight flight or certain flights only? Because I don't want my changed flight to be cancelled again.
*
It's probably due to operational issue such as aircraft out of service for maintenance check. Kinda hard to say which flight will be the affected one though.

Anyway, Air Asia X's aircraft has the highest utilization hours in the industry. So the chance of their flights getting rescheduled or cancelled is significantly higher than other airlines such as MAS or SIA.

cathay KL-HK what aircraft? (ride before and want to know which one more cramp)
*
Cathay Pacific is operating only widebodied aircraft type, just like Singapore Airlines is. Cathay Pacific deploys Airbus A330-300, Airbus A340-300, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300 as well as Boeing 777-300ER to Kuala Lumpur.

KL-Guangzhou 737-800 is with individual screen - i was worried no screen cos KUL - Kuching no screen. Weird that they have so many config with 1 type of aircraft. sweat.gif
*
There is a chance that a leased B737-800 with non-MAS standard interior (meaning no Audio Video on Demand, no power outlets/USB at every seat) operating the flight to Guangzhou. It very much depends on your luck.

MAS only has six Airbus A380-800, currently all flown exclusively to London, Paris and Hong Kong only. And yes, all these six have the same interior, same AVOD system, same seat types etc.

Because the KUL-MEL flight is not a zero fare ticket.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Sep 16 2013, 10:41 AM)
AirAsia.... can't expect them to be the same!
*
Actually many other airlines such as those full service carriers are doing the same. On certain frequent flyer programs, you do not get any miles at all if your ticket is a deeply discounted ticket, while some will still give you some but probably just 25% or 50% of the actual mileage flown.
