Actually smart traveller boarding last. There are many passenger "competing" to board the plane last. Why wait 15 to 30 min in a cramp and stuffy cabin for the last passenger to board the plane ? Boarding first and sitting at an aisle seat and get up twice again for the meddle seat and window seat passengers to get in ?

The above was long time ago, since 7kg and 1 hand carry strictly enforced, more passengers use lite and soft cover carrying bags. Carrying standard cabin size hard shelve 20" case will take up 3 kg of your allowance and easy target of being eye-picked by AA staff manning the gate to weight your hand carry. Now plenty of overhead compartment space.
NO need to hurry hurry queue 20min at the gate then wait 20 min in the plane then get up again for me the board the plane to sit at the window seat. Hahaha.

8.30p.m to drop my luggage and get my boarding pass verified which is different from check in as i will do the web-check in.

They used aggressive tactics to expand. Of cos there will be risks for having a loss. High risk = high return. They might lose some reputation. But most of the time, people will still prefer buying from them. Its already in our mindset.

it's just the container there written more than 100ml.
but it's actually used and should be less than 100ml already.
the body spray only come in one size..150ml.
they will throw the spray away even if it's toiletries?
i don't want to buy the luggage just to keep my spray la..
thought of travelling in budget..
use hand carry..haha..

i'm petite so i feel so troublesome to tuck along alot of stuffs into my handcarry cz i would nt be able to carry it. my makeup n cleanser is too much so i lazy to separate it n put the large bag into my luggage. i bring along a handbag n a backpack (for my cams). if i tug along my makeup, b4 travel i dy feel heavy. imagine if coming bek wif those stuffs i bought means ++ extra heavy hehe..

go handcarry (handbag n backpack = ady feel heavy) + 1 check in luggage
bek handcarry (handbag n backpack + foods (if any) + fragile stuffs = very loaded dy) + 1 check in luggage + another extra backpack (usually i bring along to put extra stuffs tat i bought)

tat's y i try to minimize my handcarry whn i go travel cz usually i bek wif lotsa stuffs.. even sometimes i put my stuffs into my fren's luggage 

i din bring whole make up case jz a complete kit in a medium bag in one go. my kit consist of few parts

eyes (cons cleaner machine, lens, solution, artificial tears lubricant)
face (liquid foundation, make up, brushes, cleanser, moisturizer, toner, mask, serum, sunblock, makeup removal, eye cream, ampoule) some of the products is separate by day n nite range somemore
body n hair (body shampoo, body n hand moisturizer, hair shampoo, conditioner, lotion for the hair)
dental set (toot brush, tooth paste, mouthwash, floss)

imagine if i wan to put it into a smaller jar/bottle. thn it gotta be alot?? end up it make my hand carry bag heavy. usually i bring small to medium size handbag (put all my impo docs, pen, wallet, hp) so it's convenient for me to carry along during sight seeing. plus i haf a dslr wif backpack tag along as well. nt light ler 

had a bad experience when me n bf fly from indonesia to lcct...
his luggage is the one with zipper,
mine is hard shell,no zipper - just combination code + lock key (L n R) oldskool type..

when we arrive at lcct...
his bag is alrdy open 1/3 of it..
he lost 2 of his batik shirt we bought in indonesia and 1 polo shirt..   

i had no idea why this thing can happen...  

they should put cctv at the bay n monitor the workers..

after that i learn my lesson n always use the hard shell w/o zipper luggage everytime i go with airasia..

IS THERE ANY OTHER CHEAP AIRLINES I SHOULD BE AWARE REGARDING THIS ISSUE???

For myself, I never put valueables inside my check in bag too. But touch wood, my experiences with KLIA and LCCT has been good from last time till now. Maybe those trolley luggage got some damage (not bad ones but light damage). Now that I'm using soft duffel bag, it's light so even if they throw it around, won't be much damage since the weight is not there to be damage plus the material, even if drop, also no problem.

How much is it for the plastic wrapped bag btw? Expensive?

Ohh!! Now i get it. Aiyo, now i feel stupid pulak not knowing this. Will take note on this!

yes agree!! my sis luggage is locked wif padlock (without combination code ) after arrive back to KL, the whole padlock missing.    lolz so i wonder, it's wise to lock our bag wif locks? cz they might tot our bag have alot of valuable stuffs inside, n lead them to open it..

initially i think the system work like this way also..then wad if i check got 2 person cheap ticket,i use another comp, both book at the same time how? AA cant juz pop up say sorry,no more promo ticket when i wan make payment? 
more like AA did it on purpose eh..u wan travel in group,pay more.. solo, cheaper.lol
