As for my case, i'll be flying to Paris in less than 2 months time. Called AA and they gave me the date and time details according to the system. But they kind of unable to confirm if the details are final at the moment and asked me to call back later to check again.

They just mentioned they will send me the confirmed flight details as soon as possible. Just know that it will be MAS only. Kind of hard to plan my trip now.

Looks like we are going to get the confirmed details last minute.. sweat.gif

hey guys, just for ur info...
standard procedure is they will email/contact u on the confirmed itinerary around 2 months or below prior to departure.
due to large amount of request, for sure will delay on certain time.
u actualy can check on MAS website for the departure time as per your original depart date.
but still, wait for AirAsia to call u then only is confirmed whistling.gif

need more info about this plsss...

If you go AA website, you can now buy "transfer" tickets. For example I can key in Origin Singapore, Destination Paris, and I can have the option to buy the SG --> KL and KL --> Paris together. You know ... like every other airline in the world.
its called "FLY-THRU", if u unable select such flight in same booking meaning that is not applicable for this sector.

Question though, is this any different from buying the two legs separately? As in, will they transfer my bags in KL automatically to the KL --> Paris leg? Or will I still have to check out, take bags, etc etc in KL anyways?
if u buy separately, no auto transfer. need to check out urself with baggage and recheck in for your next flight

Also, if the first leg delayed and cause me to miss second leg, will AA still tell me we are point to point carrier so gtfo?
if confirmed is connecting flight, u can request the 2nd leg move to later time at AA counter

tis is wat i experienced before is... smile.gif

gd luck guys for the promo seat as i get mine for lowest fare on feb 2012 to penang both way whistling.gif

i see... Try ask AA using the live chat. I think, it should be no problem..
they're not allowed during a booking only. The ticketing system will reject the purchase if the ticket is bought by child/infant alone. It must be purchased with adult ticket (accompanied by adult) for the ticket purchase to be successfull. But, you're also correct.. I don't think AA will allow a child to board the flight alone..
*
yaya, thats why i not sure how come the person earlier can get a tiket for the infant.
inserting wrong DOB? hmm.gif

Hi guys.

I have one question to ask. Have searched on the internet but no result.

If I book the tickets via online, under 1 itinerary booked for 3 guests (me, wife and kid), but i want to skip the seat allocation to save RM18. If i do that, AA will assigned our 3 seats randomly or they will assign it side by side?

Thanks a lot
*
for safe side, please spend the fee.
even web check in earlier, might also getting seat far apart

Thanks guys for the reply.. I already make the payment without pick-a-seat biggrin.gif .. after that quickly go to web check in and guess what, got 11B, 11C and 11D, LoL  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  .. Nevermind lah still side by side, maybe can ask 11A passenger to change seat biggrin.gif
*
thats nice and lucky laugh.gif
yaya, you can try ask the 11A passenger swap seat (if he/she is kind enough)
remember try your luck for return flight too (if any)
once web checked in, if not mistaken still can perform seat assignment with fee same to upsize baggage and meal.
