Hi guys, wanna ask... I'm planning to go the Singapore on June 30 and come back on 1 July. Right now the ticket price is around rm60 to go there and rm80 to come back. Should I buy it now or should I wait a bit longer hoping that the price will drop? I don't know.. maybe in a few days time they'll suddenly have a promotion and tickets to Singapore is rm20 or something. I don't really keep track of how often the price changes and how they do their promotions..thats why I ask.

Based on what we've seen, the only time you will get dirt cheap fares for Singapore route would be during the Big Sale (you know those waiting room and stuff)
And at that time, they probably offer flights that are way ahead of schedule 2013 flights
It's RM49 to depart and RM84 to return (all-in) right now, and that's a pretty good deal if you ask us.
You can check out some of the fares on our site at http://fleapy.com/ or specifically http://fleapy.com/lowest/KUL/SIN/roundtrip

As for my case, i'll be flying to Paris in less than 2 months time. Called AA and they gave me the date and time details according to the system. But they kind of unable to confirm if the details are final at the moment and asked me to call back later to check again.

They just mentioned they will send me the confirmed flight details as soon as possible. Just know that it will be MAS only. Kind of hard to plan my trip now.

Looks like we are going to get the confirmed details last minute.. sweat.gif

hey guys, just for ur info...
standard procedure is they will email/contact u on the confirmed itinerary around 2 months or below prior to departure.
due to large amount of request, for sure will delay on certain time.
u actualy can check on MAS website for the departure time as per your original depart date.
but still, wait for AirAsia to call u then only is confirmed whistling.gif

Hi, my last friday trip from KL to Alor Star check-in 1 luggage for 4 of us (me, wife + 2 kids stuff), but I didnt get my luggage at Alor Star airport when arrived. I made a report for not receiving my luggage, then in the evening I checked with AA again, they said they found my luggage, it was sent to Penang instead of Alor Star. So they arranged the next flight to send it to Alor Star, which arrived at 9:40pm on the same day.

My question is, can I claim from AA for the delay of my luggage coz I have spent about RM200+ for buying diapers, milk powder, undergarment, clothes for change coz we arrived Alor Star at 8:10am but our luggage arrived at 9:40pm, more than 13 hours delay. But we didn't buy traveling insurance, can we claim? How to claim? Thanks.

I don't know what is AA's specific policy. But generally speaking, there are no set agreements or rules governing compensation payments for delayed luggage - it's all up to the carrier.

It's only after 21 days delay that the Montreal Convention requires airlines to compensate you - up to an individual limit of 1000 SDRs, currently equivalent to US$1,536.

Once you paid for baggage allowance, you cannot cancel it. No refund whatsoever.

I think no different with milo and nescafe... I did bring that in check-in luggage... no problem at all. Make sure the can/bottle is really air tight.

It actually depends on which hotel that you want to stay in.

If in the case that flight+hotel (the one that you want) is available on airasiago.com, then book it by all means.

If say the place you wanna stay is not in the list in aa's website, then book separately lor.
