QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 20 2011, 09:50 PM) Don't waste your time trying these 3rd party apps. By default your phone should lock GPS easily - mine is within seconds . Make sure your 3G is enabled - it will help If within few minutes also unable - then send in to service center to check. I faced same problem in my previous htc touch pro - very difficult to lock - as under warranty motherboard was replaced FOC Do I need to have data plan to lock the gps?

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Nov 20 2011, 10:26 PM) No, the data connection using wi-fi or 3G is to help the GPS lock faster or lock indoors using A-GPS. Even without A-GPS it should lock in less than 2 mins in the open. By the way, you have enabled GPS in the settings haven't you? Yes, my GPS always enable.. I think my GPS really gother problem..can't lock the after 5mins at open area..
