G version cannot change display mode (Dynamic/movie/standard) , what a let down

Do you think anti virus is a necessity to android phone ? If yes what program to recommend ?

Having trouble opening image file downloaded from gmail. PDF & DOC file are okay. Anyone having the same issues ?
