i upgraded my phone to XWKJ1 and now my data show G instead of H. any idea?

Does anyone know why sometimes my phone shuts off and gets very very hot? When I restart it I have lost 60% of my battery. Could this be caused by UVing and setting the min CPU speed at 100MHz?

I just notice this that for G users, there's no settings to set the Display Mode background setting to dynamic, standard or movie mode.

Can anyone else confirm this too?

Yes confirmed there is no 'Display Mode' in the background setting for the 'G' versions.

Added on November 13, 2011, 2:19 pmIm thinking you UVed to much,put back stock voltage and monitor for a few days. My screen off profile min cpu speed is 100mhz, and no random shutdowns, so i'm thinking it could be caused by excessive UV

Yes you are right and the g version's display seems dimmer than non-g version because i have made a comparison with my friend which he owned the g version..

As laptopdude guy said, your device hang at some point. Try not using 100 mhz. From my experience 100mhz cause more instability than UV for some device.

Even non G has different display brightness. Mine is dimmer and my friends one is brighter. His screen setting almost at 0 while mine around 30% yield the same brightness.

so I9100 is still stuck with official 2.3.3

I have flashed to XWKJ3 and CSC to OLCKH1 so that it has XME support.

I see that it has the blue overscroll glow, but not the CRT off animation. Anyone has got their CRT off animation fix for this version?

Another thing, when I tried to wipe Dalvik cache from CWM, it states E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

Is that normal?

No, just stick with KF1 to root your phone. As stated on the 1st post by ChainFire.

Alternatively, flash to the latest ROM like I did and you can use the latest CF-Root.

I have a 16GB C4 sandisk microsd was using previously on my HTC Desire. Desire custom ROM needs EXT3/4 partition on the SD card. Such a headache now to remove the partition. Working on it now.
