Samsung start using OTA for its update now. Galaxy Note just receive OTA and it work perfectly. No need Kies anymore for updates.
Why dont the stock SGSII users try checking your updates, maybe Samsung use OTA also to update your SGSII.
*
yea...got OTA update for SGSII...i updated mine 1 month ago to 2.3.5 den OTA update again to 2.3.6 2 days ago biggrin.gif

I sent it for repair at Samsung and the Tech said, my warranty will be still going on. Still, i thought Gorilla glass is tough. End up, still fragile.

Its not compatible. Most ppl will downgrade to 2.3.5 to use the Jig and upgrade back. No biggie.

I'm using G version and upgrade to 2.3.6 last week, flashed wth DZKI1 MyGKernel. I can remove the yellow triangle & reset counter with my own made USB jig

What rom your using? Off as in totally off or just screen off (standby)? Get betterbatterystats to see what is draining your battery.

Totally off should not drain anything. Are you sure you turn off properly. Maybe your device hang while turning off. blink.gif After off screen animation, there should be a short vibration when the phone is totally off. Did you feel that?
