just now i've check my phone and found out got updates for android firmware.
currently android 2.3.5
question 1: what is the latest firmware version?
question 2: my phone is rooted as guided by the first page without any custom rom (G version). so can i update the phone as usual?or do i need to unroot or any additional step needed?

Nope, SGS2 doesn't have any notification LED.

Um guys, I've downloaded 2nd core and I cant enable/disable any of the modes, using Siyah 2.2.1, any help ?

No such version 2.2.1. Please reconfirm. It will only work on 2.2 beta 5.1 and 2.2 beta 6.

Weird, tried to flash 2.2 beta 6 using CWM and it didn't work, no reboot, even I reboot myself also same. hmm.gif hmm.gif

I'm using the old 2.1beta6 with near zero issues (some lockups last weekend, nothing else. Charging set to 1000ma with an init.d script, noticeably faster charging using my Nokia AC10X (1200ma).

What charger are you using BTW? Stock charger can only do 700ma max IINM.

i already bought this phone version i1900, but i cant download many app. from market. the download time take so long and never finish.

because 2.3.3 and 2.3.6 no difference at all, so samsung prefer to release 4.0 soon icon_idea.gif

wooo.pity u.standby rm500 and no more warranty.same as my friend,drop the fon same as u.now days most of big screen fon cannot be drop at all.just remember a few years ago.dropped my 3210 from 3rd floor and still can use.more tech more fragile
