I've noticed something guys, I don't know whether my CWM is broken or not, under SpeedMod kernel I can flash other kernels using CWM but if under Siyah kernel cannot, yes, all version of Siyah kernel.

If you read the first page , (not sure if first page or what) Benny once said it's good when you first get your phone, charge it when it's off and leave it for awhile although it's fully charged to get the full capacity of the battery (?)* *Not sure but something like this la.

You used the official Samsung battery or third party ones ? I've came across some reasonably cheap 2000mAh batteries for around RM60 and I'm not sure about it. This post has been edited by fabianz03: Nov 16 2011, 01:58 PM

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 17 2011, 05:13 PM) My advise let others try it out first. No point to be white mice. At least wait for Chainfire to make a root kernel. Okay. QUOTE(xbbshampoo @ Nov 17 2011, 06:09 PM) for i9100? Obviously stated there.

QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ Nov 17 2011, 07:22 PM) what kernel are you using now? can you go to cwm recovery mode? no wipe means all user data are retained. but if you came from different rom than checkrom, better perform full wipe to ensure the checkrom is properly working. siyah. and my cwm aint working. i'm flashing from stock to checkrom.

QUOTE(Assclown @ Nov 17 2011, 07:44 PM) interesting... on which version of siyah? siyah 2.2.1 edit : oh and i underclocked my cpu to 1Ghz and minimum 100Mhz. i think that further saved lots of juice QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:02 PM) you are using stock rom with siyah kernel is that it? interesting. you have rooted ur phone right? try flash with any CF kernel kh3 or ki4 for temporary and try move to recovery mode. if its ok, you can flash checkrom via cwm recovery with full wipe. yes on cwm it says i need cf v5 to make it work. lol going to try it and i'll buy a sd card to do titanium backup and checkrom here i come ! QUOTE(del_Piero10 @ Nov 17 2011, 08:51 PM) my advice for 1st timer of flasing custom rom, additional sd card is a must for you to put all ur essential back up files such as efs, cwm back up file. we never know what will happen during the flash process. better late than sorry later. but then again, its not mandatory to have additional sd card, if you can live with only 16Gb on board memory space to keep all your songs and videos.. P/S: use hktool to create back up for your efs file. this efs contain ur phone details such as imei # etc.. Added on November 17, 2011, 8:53 pmu mean the voltage setting? try setCPU for beginners or voltage controller for expert. I'll get a 8GB SC4 since those cards are rather cheap nowadays and it's always good to have backups "emegency" plan if proposed plan doesn't go as planned.
