anyone here have direct link to download checkrom 2.0, im downloading it and its taking forever on my 20mbps connection. Most of time its giving me error " download interrupted"

i mean a direct torrent connection or a direct ftp connection. tried downloading like 20 times. still failed.

Successfully downloaded checkrom 2.0 via IDM.
Now, I have installed CWM/ROM manager via market on my stock ROM. When I open the app and select reboot into recovery, once into recovery it says :-

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed

whats wrong ?

Edit : Sorted it out, flashed to a custom kernel. (SiyahKernel V2.1) and the next thing you know the CWM loads with the full menu. Awesome.

Got a query, yesterday before flashing to CheckROM 2.0 from stock ROM I downloaded Titanium backup and backed up my apps. Only apps is backed.

After successfully flashing the phone to checkROM2.0 + siyah 2.1.

I re installed Titanium Backup and restored the apps. Now when I run Market, the apps doesn't show under My Apps section. My only concern is when there is an update for the app it will not show since its not under Market anymore.

How to solve this issue ? Installing all the apps back under market is going to be very troublesome as I have 70-80 apps.

My gf is using BB, battery life more or less same with my Android. Hers not even touch screen.

I migrated to CheckROM 2.0 recently. I installed back the Samsung apps. The application that shows how many apps are running in the background is missing. Where can I find the widget and install it back. The original Samsung application widget.

Yes its from stock ROM. I tried downloading JobManager.apk from the spreadsheet you posted previously. Its saying cannot be installed.

anyone tried Google Talk video call before ? Does it work ? Tried installing it from Kitchen Pro, doesnt work. The video call icon is not there in GTALK

Thinking very hard whether to update to CheckROM v 3.1.1 or stick to V2.0 ...

if battery on the phone is low cannot boot into CWM isit ? Im stuck at a battery sign and a circle in the middle.

Phone no OS now

phone is totally dead, stuck at yellow triangle ... tried to flash to CheckROM 3.1.1 from CWM (previously was on V2.0)

Selected the fw 3.1.1 which was on the phone memory, rebooted and yellow triangle. Tried the power+home+vol up cannot get into recovery. Tried flashing siyah again using odin, still no luck.

I can get into download mode (power+Vol down+home).

To get into CWM, no way.

Finally fix the problem. On V3.1.1 now. I realize gtalk video calling was working on gtalk app. Also the Google map doesn't come with Brut Mod.

Very weird, after installing Samsung apps/Widgets from kitchen pro. Gtalk video chat stopped working n the interface reverted back to old version. Weird.

which version of baseband/radio is latest ? Currently im on XXKI1
Using CheckROM V3.1.1 + Siyah 2.1.1

I bought a SME set last a couple of months back. They took full name and telephone number. I got the SMS only after 7-8 days. Still got it. No problem with that.

Using siyah 2.1.1 with checkrom 3.1.1 , smooth as butter. Already 24 hours using. Battery like is also good with heavy use.

Just downloaded asphalt 6 from sammy app store. Oh man the graphics is awesome.

Any other games optimized for s2 tegra chip?
