I bought another set for a friend

i never used any such av apps all these while using android phones
i feel as long as we dont download pirate/crack apps should be safe

please no discussion on piracy websites n such pirate apps
warning downloading apps from such will do you more harm esp virus n causing instability to phone

Just google in garage sales mobilephone - plenty sellers there. I last bought the 4800maH fro RM 119 and 11200maH for RM230

I think you have sent in several days already. Normally just to reflash rom at service center just take an hour. Your unit must have hardware issue ??

Are you using original version of Titanium backup ?

There is no issue - just spend time reading the rom threads and decide which you like to try . Or ask for opinion here

Sygic limit to only one device. When you change phone, just email Sygic support and advise them your new phone IMEI. They will reset your account and when you launch the app in the new phone, it will auto recognized and activate it automatically without you keying in any activation code . You of course need to key in the product code which is given to you when you make the purchase. The response from Sygic to change is within a working day. I got my SGS II licence changed to my Galaxy Note few days ago

Use quickpic a very good free app to replace gallery. It loads up your pics much faster

I recieved this PM from a SGS II user ( joshuawang) who has proposed following fix for those whose phone has problem being detected by PC> Try it for those who is still facing undetectable issues with PC:

Resolution

1. Unplug the USB cable

2. On the cell phone, dial the following number: *#7284# Once the last # is hit, the PhoneUtil application is launched. Choose USB -> Modem and then USB -> PDA mode. The good mode should be PDA. Even if the mode is PDA, switch to Modem and then back to PDA.

3. Plug the USB cable.

* Repair USB connection for any Samsung Android phone

GPS lockup is extremely fast on my previous SGS II : 4-5 secs on Google maps and papago x5. Immediate and max 2 secs on Sygic Aura. And I never used any 3rd party GPS fix apps

Don't waste your time trying these 3rd party apps. By default your phone should lock GPS easily - mine is within seconds . Make sure your 3G is enabled - it will help
If within few minutes also unable - then send in to service center to check. I faced same problem in my previous htc touch pro - very difficult to lock - as under warranty motherboard was replaced FOC

Your phone will not reboot successfully n get stuck at Samsung logo
