Nice album...altho its different than previous albums and not so many hardcore ones, but still great music.

But there's one thing i really miss, its Joe Hahn's scratch masterpiece...like Cure For The Itch in Hybrid Theory and Session in Meteora.

from what i heard through the album, here's what i think about those songs:

Given Up - just like Linkin Park it's self, hardcore with Chester's screaming skills

Leave It All the Rest - Very nice to hear, one of the best one in this album. If you're a LP fan, you'll know this will sure this one can be top of the chart when air on radio stations

Bleed It Out - The combination we're proud of as LP fans, Mike with the rap and Chester at the chorus. Too bad, this is the only song in this album have their combination.

Shadow Of The Day - I think this is the first time LP do this kind of song. A typical rock band song with nice vocal (not scream).

What I've Done - Guess this i don't need to say more. Great song.

Hand Held High - A solo rap by Mike. When Mike raps, there's only one thing need to focus on... it's the meaning of the lyric. Nice.

No More Sorrow - Another hardcore tune. Linkin Park roxx.

Valentine's Day - This is also one of my favorite. Begin with soft tune and end with a rock tune.

In Between - Another solo from Mike by this time not rap. When listen carefully, Mike really relax while singing this.

In Pieces - What i like most is the guitar solo at the near end.

The Little Things Give You Away - Just like the title, this song is quite long..about 6 minutes plus. This is the 1st time i heard LP a song with acoustic guitar tunes. I think is indeed a very suitable song to end the album.
