What do you mean "copy whole file to laptop?"

I think he copied the filed from one computer to the other, bypassing the installation, its not gonna work, origin will not detect your installation this way. You have to install straight from origin.

i refer the origin forum. the origin support said for backup. just need to copy the folder to new laptop or pc. in the installer folder>disk_1 click the setup then the origin will detect. for bf3 when i paste the game folder in the correct directory it shows 'ready for install' but my others game didn't show only remain the same 'ready for download'. so i just click in bf3 to install when comes to the game play is what i mentioned previously. anyone is very familiar with origin? how your guys manage the backup to others pc or laptop?

or i need to install all my games as usual in origin? then i will be in deep shit lor.

hi guys. any 1 know how to solve this matter?
after the BF3 updated ..every game tat i play crash every time.. some time crash during logging screen, sometime crash during loading screen, sometime crash after gameplay 5 mins -30 mins.. i cant play any full game at all. tired of crashing...my QUIT percentage from 9% increase to 29% now.





i edy updated my latest direct X , latest graphic card driver which is AMD 11.11b wif 11.9 CAP 4, hd 6990 graphic card, temp at safe zone which is 75'c full load. pls guide thanks

Try to update your DirectX and your GC Driver, update driver first, most prolly it got corrupted.

having the same problem as you.

i using 9800GT, running on W7 ultimate,
notice that this video card is DX 10 card. So it might have problem to run DX11 app.. but i doesn't sound right to me as well since most of the time, i can play other game...

i suspect is not because of the DX or driver option cause i tried to debug as the error tells, and also updated all the latest driver...

SO HOPEFULLY DICE CAN COME OUT WITH A SOLUTION...

i had the same problem with you before....i got it fixed by enabling virtual memory in advanced system settings section...make sure to set it more than 512 mb , e.g : 2048 / 4096

guys, how to access the in game menu? when i launch a multiplayer or campaign from battlelog it takes me straight into the game.

also how to redeem the physical warfare pack code?

While your in game press ESC.

Theres no way to do it other than going into the game.

Redeem your code at origin la , same as you redeemed BF3

Game menu for what? battlelog is your game menu
Origin > Redeem Product Code.

Do you mean game settings? If you play campaign, it will show you the menu first. If you play multiplayer, press ESC key to shop game menu.

About physical warfare pack code, I think you can put the code in Origin settings(a gear icon), then "redeem product code".

Still same case , you need to install BF3 on the other PC/Laptop on Origin.

Assume:
Computer A = old updated computer
Computer B = new computer
I never move the game to other computer. If I were you, I gonna use disc to install the game in computer B. Then make a copy the game of computer B. Then copy updated game folder from computer A and paste into computer B.

The game need to install because it registers data into registry. When you install using dvd, it will register data into registry. Install game from DVD is quite fast but update game via internet connection is slow, so I suggest the method above but not sure if it will work or not.

wah looks like everything is done through battlelog. i haven't explored it fully yet

alright, upgraded my ram to 4gb, now bf3 is totally playable! but starting games when connecting to server is a little more slower than i expected. surprisinngly also, low graphics looks extremely pretty too o.o
