Total                         : 596.17 GB
original                     : 640.00 GB

differences                : 43.83 GB MISSING! ?? blink.gif  shocking.gif

How do i check the hidden drive in the disk management?  icon_question.gif
*
Click Start, click Run, type compmgmt.msc, and then click OK. (run as admin)

they ate mine around 2x GB only. some is ur virtual memory. bro is normal lah. u can clean format current OS & install clean OS. the will be less difference than now.

did u do partition? some is for reserved but i'm not sure for wat. but normally like 750gb hdd u will get around 700gb. 640gb should be around 590~600!

soloinruds: buy a good cooling pad. v-sync off for better fps but game like PES 12 those sports game is better to enable for reduce display tearing.

Vsync is vertical syncronization, as CustomBuilt has mentioned Vsync locks the frames at the vertical (up and down) refresh rate of you monitor when enabled, but also reduces performance. Experiment with this option if you are looking for a performance gain.

General rule of thumb in gaming is to DISABLE Vsyc with-in the properties menu of your video card ( right click the desktop ) and in your game options as well. The next step to reduce tearing would be your monitors refresh rate; start at 100 and work down from that number. Most if not all games I play run succesfuly with 1024*768 @ 90Htz VSYNC DISABLED with out much tearing if any.

Custom Built has mentioned 85 and 100 htz. there is also 75, [72 and 60]---> these last 2 might cause an epiliptic seizure.

You are getting it a little wrong  icon_idea.gif

Our notebooks CAN push 4k resolution (any GT555m equipped notebook can), but COMPUTER MONITORS CAN'T RECEIVE higher resolutions via HDMI.
Only via DVI or Display Port. It is not a notebook limitation, it's a COMPUTER MONITOR HDMI input limitation. If you connect (theoretically) your laptop
to a 4k TV with HDMI 1.4/1.4a cable (and there are TVs like that already), you will be able to push that resolution out. That's the difference.

hdmi 1.4 is for 3D support.

Not necessarily. Here is an example of a 4k TV (4096 x 2160) that runs on HDMI 1.4

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3iUjT2MXcg

and here is a 8k TV (7680 x 4320)

Peace.

but main purpose is for 3D if no mistake. i argued with the samsung guy b4. he insisted no point u get hdmi 1.4 port on hdtv that w/o support 3D.

correct me if my concept r wrong. 10S no offense.
