hi all,ive been stalking this thread for about 2 months, and yes..You guys have been very much helpful.I got my N55SF(i5,8Gb Ram) on Sept 2011.

Mainly,i have these problems persisting since 2-3 months back:
-ATK Driver gone wild(solved, sometimes have to reinstall the ATK Driver back)
-Connecting to wifi is slow, when windows boot up.Takes around 20-30 seconds before it can succesfully connect to my personal wifi.
-BSOD's on Mass Effect 2,Mass Effect 3,Skyrim,Kingdoms Of Amalur,Syndicate(i dont have air-conditioning in my room, just sent for Air Blowing yesterday and there was slight improvement on air-flowing)

What would you guys reccomend me to do? :\

so,what you mean is to do a clean reformat?Or just simply system restore?Kinda agitated that i cant continue on killing Reapers while being worried about BSOD killing me.

Yea, when gaming the temperature for CPU can go as high as 95 Celcius. As for GPU,it goes as high as 85 Celcius.I am not in air-conditioning room. They r build to withstand high temperature.I would say 80-95 Celcius is still okay to me.Going beyond that is a bit dangerous. My old Acer laptop goes as high as 105 Celcius when gaming XD Can boil water adi haha tongue.gif

Btw,did ur problem still persist after formatting?
*
erm, havent really tested it to the max...but im gonna play syndicate, and see how long it goes....fingers crossed that there wont be any problems :\

its not to say that you should avoid buying it,its just that...sometimes u get lucky then it turns out fine.then when u get unlucky(like me),you get messed up laptops that are originally priced, but the feel is similar to that of a 2nd hand laptop.

Hmm hard to determine the source of BSOD without further troubleshooting.Btw,did u add any extra ram?
*
Its preinstalled 4Gb ram,but when i got it there was another 4Gb extra ram(free gift)..So that makes it 8Gb.

sigh,my old problem still persists, played Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, can last for about 30 mins when my n55sf is in good mood,10 mins if its having its PMS.BSOD after that.So far,all settings are low.Dead Space 2 also same,BSOD after 30 mins.Ive alrd sent it to the service centre 2 months back for fan blowing and whatnot. In NVIDIA Control Panel, ive adjusted it for Performance and not Quality.Do you guys set your preferred Graphics to NVIDIA,or leave it at Auto-Select?
For the BSOD,i get 116 Codes always. And ive googled it,something to do with the GPU itself?

your n55sf is only 4gb ram?mine is 8 gb,i wonder if the extra apacer 4gb ram might be causing the bsod.
oyeah,i gave Arkham City another shot and timed it.BSOD @ 9 mins and 37 seconds.Ctrl when playing catwoman is so sexy biggrin.gif
