Clean format using Windows 7 came with the laptop or unmodified Windows 7?
Is the screen like this after you used the laptop for some time, or happened right after you boot your computer?
Did any specific action only, like playing music trigger this?

PS: try update your nvidia and intel graphic driver to the latest.
*
ive formated using clean win 7 not from the laptop recovery image.
it happen after some time when i listen to music.
frankly speaking hours of music playing while i was doing my work i got shock by the sound and screen change like the picture showned.

im still figuring out what might be the problem,
i recently installed a newer version of realtek driver.
perfomed a memory diagnose,
and check disk for errors.

have any solution to this ?

p/s: i completely remove all the bloatwares in this laptop when i bought it. Thats the first thing i did byt doing a clean format using windows 7 hp 64bit downloaded from microsoft.

Currently not yet, only the WEI assess Intel GPU instead of nVidia, so the score is low.

If it happens:
Check if the computer is hot (abnormally).
Try to tilt the screen back and forth.

Oh ya, can restart solve the problem? And the Realtek Driver is from Asus website or from Realtek?

Try downgrade the Realtek Driver to the original version (from factory) and play music, c if still happens.

PS: It sounded like 'Warranty Time' for me... unsure.gif
*
yes restarting solve the problem, today the whole day time nothing happened i was able to play games listen to music like normal, but just now at 3.33am to 3.34 it went crazy again..
i mean i just bought this new laptop within days.. not even a week you think they'll let me change to a new one ? its only 6 days.. this is happening in fact it happened the night i bought it...

Yes, practise make perfect. Will definitely get a wireless keyboard for office usage. I'm typing a lot doing proposal, etc. It's important that I can remain WPM on this kboard. Hahah.. what a kboard warrior!

Followed your recommendation - installed power4gear, and I believe it's better power management compared to win7 built-in.

Now installing FIFA12, Assassin Creed - Rev, Dirt 3, MW3, NFS Run, Arkham City. Test power!!
Dunno when can finish all. Definitely not playing game for 2 months due to heavy workload in office now. heh.

Anybody tried OC'ing already? Please share your setting. Tq.
*
i tried overclocking the GPU using
ASUS GPU TWEAK
http://event.asus.com/vga/2012/gpu_tweak/
and
MSI AFTERBURNER
http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

well to be honest the default settings is more than enough unless DETAILED graphics is really what you want...
i do not recommend overclocking the GPU... since you know it gets freaking HOT...later finger terbakar
and performance increase is slightly noticeable wink.gif
but it doesnt really matter as long as your able to play game with HD+ or Full HD satisfying graphics.
CHEERIOS thumbup.gif

just as a reminder that
OVERCLOCKING = OVERVOLTNG
OVERVOLTING IS WHAT YOU WOULDNT WANNA DO USING LAPTOP

same problem like me, but this thing happen when i torture my laptop (when i run apps like prime95 or mem test).. mine is N45..
*
i solved my issue by changing the RAM ..previously i was using corsair ram 4gb and got it changed to 4gb Kingston ram.. and that seems to solve the issue...
and this issues is known as HARDWARE issues..so i recommend you to take it back to the shop and change the ram .. if the same problem persist claim for warranty ..if you just bought it less than a month ask for a one to one change ... shouldnt be a problem..cuz thats the shops fault.

cheers.

Here is an update:

I see the system just now.
It seems that when this happens, I flip the setting "high-performance " and  "battery saving mode" and then it become normal irrespective which mode I use. After restart, it occasionally happen again.
So, I go into safe mode. I observe the brownish effect happens as well.
This Sounds to me like a software problem, correct me if I'm wrong.
So, I go back to normal windows and try to roll back the Intel graphic card driver.
After I had roll back the driver of Intel graphic card, the whole screen went black, I done a forced restart.
After the restart, the "brownish effect" seems solved, for now.

Will see what happens in the near future.
*
you might want to do a clean format of your laptop and then reinstall the drivers and applications that you need..
download clean win 7 not the from "AI RECOVERY"

Updated drivers are working good on my N55SF.

I just tested Syndicate few days ago. So heavy man, well of course, what do you expect from EA right? Tech hogger lol..

Syndicate has no advanced graphic options? Coz I can't see them from the in-game options.

I'm getting a fluctuating FPS, so it sucks when the FPS drops while aiming.. but the graphic is really cun.

NOTE: Graphic drivers are to the latest version. Running on High Performance, along with 8GB RAM.. so Idk what could be the issue since you can get 35fps range.

go back to the shop and change the rams! Give it a try. The kingston ram might have some problems or hynix cool2.gif

if the same problem still happens go ask for one to one change from the shop if its still new as in less than a month old. thumbup.gif

"You know it might be be your hardware such as RAMS, GPU and LED issue."

Try this :-

Uninstall the wireless driver, and let windows do its work by auto detecting and download the specific driver for your laptop.

Im currently using this driver and its working good :-

Wireless Driver:

rclxms.gif Atheros AR9002WB-1NG 9.2.0.458 rclxms.gif
here i provide the latest driver from the asus website itself hope this helps
