hey guys, i have just reformatted my Asus N45SL, but can't seems to find the installer for SonicMaster? From the website it says "supposingly" bundled with audio driver but I don't see any after I installed the Realtek driver?

I download those drivers straight from the website itself.. Asus doesn't provide driver disc anymore with their "go green" thingy..

So yeah, the Realtek is from Asus website, N45SL..

I tried reinstall, uninstall, reinstall several times.. don't know what's missing.. Garhh..

Added on July 6, 2012, 6:07 pmCould there be any steps e.g. "1st install this then install that"?

Basically I think I installed all the drivers and some of the Asus utilities like fast boot, instant on. Haven't install Music Now and Music Maker stuff, not sure whether its related?

There ya go.. Thanks for looking into it..

Also, I think I encountered some trouble when installing the WiFi and bluetooth, not sure whether the bluetooth is fully functional now. That leads me to think whether specific steps are needed when installing those drivers..

try go start,my computer and then right click, manage, then click device manager, check if any "!" there? <---- for ur bluetooth and wifi prob.
i am using 6449 audio driver. wait a second..  hmm.gif

Wifi connected fine, I'm only worry about the Bluetooth as the first time I restarted it showed some Bluetooth component failed to install. Nevertheless under the device manager everything seems fine.

Perhaps you could send me your audio driver to try it out?

is there still the notification thr? the bluetooth component with a "!" there? my driver is 6.0.1.6449.. try google and download it. it's big to be send smile.gif

Nope to the Bluetooth thing. No "!" do I assume it's ok, I just need to test it out.

Alright I will search for that driver.. Garh why don't they just split the installer...

Added on July 6, 2012, 10:30 pmAlright! SonicMaster up and running! So apparently the 6608 driver provided on Asus N45SL download page doesn't 'bundled' in the SM. I googled 6449 and there's the SM installer that I've been missing.

What I did later on is too simple to need to write it out. LOL.

Thanks!

Added on July 7, 2012, 12:15 amThere's another stupid problem with N45SL.. There's a bug between Skype and nVidia 635m. Can't open Skype unless I disable the GC. Let me know if you know any workaround as I've been googling for it too =D
