Now, there's even more trouble and the cost for repair is RM950.
Been searching around for washer brands and mostly recommended is Electrolux then LG next. I'm kinda interested in the Direct Drive WD-MD7010DC.
Any helpful opinions out there?

I'm currently using Electrolux EWF882 and am having problems with bearing; fixed 3 times in 4 years. According to the technician, it's kinda frequent.

Got myself LG for my new house. Currently parent also using LG. Is still noisy but not as bad as our previous machine. I got the 1k rpm.
The problem is every time we use, need to remember set the temperature to cold. Is always default to 60c. BTW, LG and Samsung is same. Think Samsung Oem from LG. Front are slightly difference, but internal are the same. |

I'm using an LG washer/dryer combo. (13kg/8kg) without any issues and much better than my previous Ariston. Also does not consume as much electricity as the Ariston. 8.5/10
