its not waste..its the price u pay for that game..

However, putting too much time in one game for a short amount of time provides no benefits.

Sure, im sitting with 12 hours now, but say in 6 months time, i get 100 hours, that pretty good for me. I aint gonna do like 100 hours in 3 days.
