Gongrats  . I just collected my golf gti around 3-4 weeks ago too. That time my sa already prepared the check list she asked me to check them one by one and then sign on the check list if everything is ok

This is the bluetooth feature but I was told by a SA that it cannot be used in malaysia.

You would need to install the bluetooth option. There are a few outside installers who will install the original VW bluetooth unit and you would be able to have that feature. I have personally seen a number of VW cars (e.g. Golf, Scirocco, etc..) have the bluetooth unit installed and functioning perfectly. No splicing of cables or wires, all original parts.

The best installer that I have seen hails from Singapore. Very professional and very experienced in VW cars.

He does come to Malaysia quite often as he installed all the cars I have seen during the VW teh tarik sessions. His contact details are all there, best to whatsapp him to see when is his schedule and whether he has stock. He usually fixes the cars in Gardens/Midvalley.

Looks like a check engine light error as well. Bring it back to the service center to see what is the issue. Could be just a faulty sensor. Your GTI is it a Golf GTI or a Polo GTI? I know several Polo GTI owners have complained about this issue before.

ur milage is it due for service?

if you're not redlining your rev all the time it shouldn't be drinking that much engine oil...
monitor every 1000km loh, check your dipstick levels

so far i only heard of polo gti having too high engine oil consumption

needing top up is quite normal, but 1700km being low is way too soon. usually if consume too much got problem inside the engine like the polo GTI issue. got 1 owner had his engine replaced also

Basically from all my friends who owned GTI's, the never had to top up any engine oil until they reached 8000km and then they just went for an interim service.
