QUOTE(phas3r @ Feb 18 2012, 08:12 PM) i think this is more like "sports" version instead of facelift. Earlier, the salesman let her use the 15" test-drive unit cause her car was delayed around 2 weeks..17" vs 15" : any drop in performance or ride comfort? Added on February 18, 2012, 8:13 pm slim chance VW will bring it here. just hope for the grey imports. seems like a great car though. SG has it I drove the 15" normal version... Trashed the car too, went Genting, tyre screeching everywhere... Hehe The 17" sports version handling much much better.. Ride comfort of course drop a bit cause using low-profile 215/40/17 tyres.. Pick-up or top speed can't test yet because her car is still "virgin", less than 1k mileage.. Is it possible to install the front DRL on the lights like Polo GTI? Also, other than bodykit, what other mods are there for Polo? This post has been edited by -PuPu^ZaPruD3r-: Feb 20 2012, 03:00 PM |

QUOTE(ma43q @ May 14 2012, 05:31 PM) just updated the software for the transmission and turbo. I was told that there is a fault in the modulator (if i heard correctly) of the turbo system of the polo sport and a software update with an installation of spacer were required to prevent short circuit in long run. Wow, thanks bro for the detailed explanation.. My gf just got the letter for her Polo Sport and she is so worried of what update is needed for her car.. Now can explain to her and tell her not to worry so much Everything done in 3 hours with a test drive by the technicians to double check the settings for the transmission. The transmission felt slightly smoother, less jerky at lower speed. This post has been edited by -PuPu^ZaPruD3r-: May 14 2012, 07:02 PM |
