for you guys info only. volkswagen group is one of the top 3 largest automotive player in the world. Brand like Porche, Audi, Lamborgini, Bently, Bugati Veyron, are all made by Volkswagen, its under Volkswagen group. Just like Lexus Under Toyota group.

So i would say it is proven volkswagen has good experience enough to make good car. Only malaysia support center is not up to date to support. Perhaps need another 2 more years or more for our teachnician to catch up.
*
the support center thats the key thing.
because not enough service centers, workshops and sales offices for VW.
it took 20 years for proton to build theirs.
toyota, nissan, honda had even longer time which is why mechs everywhere are familiar with their older models and those older models are still running/have demand.
demand drives 2nd hand value.

guys, a lil bit of advice please. my sister want's to respray her GTi whole. any one here did that before? as far as i know, they will dismantle every thing including the engine bay. is it recommendable to do so?

really need to bring it to someone who really knows what they're doing.
i know of two shops in glenmarie that does it well, they're always working on expensive cars too.

3 VWs were here today at Bling Detailing Haus. The other one is also a red Polo GTI which came in the morning. To all dear VW owners, you can now pamper your cars over here at Bling with Meguiar's cleaning products.

Small Cars (Polo/Golf/Scirocco): RM12

Larger Cars (Passat, CC, Sharan, Tiguan, Eos, Touareg, etc): RM15

(Prices are inclusive of interior vacuuming)

***All general wash come with a 24 hour rain-rewash guarantee. (which means if it rains after we washed your car, you can come over the next day and your car wash will be free***

We have packages too! Also, we will bring in Meguiar's products to sell in the near future and price would be much cheaper than in Ace Hardware.

For more information, please call: 03-80818099 (Victor) or visit our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bling-Detail...283744355048468  biggrin.gif

Thanks.

Anyway, any updates on the price increase for Polo GTI?

Im driving Jetta.

interior space slightly smaller than passat
build quality is good, same like other VW model. that salesman is not doing homework, ask him go home study well. Not knowing own product. U can simply google to see where is the origin of Jetta.

for interior, if you change to full leather, then u might not feel that is it Jetta, instead a Passat smile.gif

i was fooled too.
if i didn't see properly i couldn't tell a jetta from a passat.

afaik jetta are built in mexico
1.4 twincharge vs 1.8 tsi, cheaper roadtax & better mileage
i guess 1.8 top end power will be better.

india cbu polo sedan's not worth buyin at 99k price range, if they come out with ckd at 89k then u may consider. india polo sedan (vento) sells better than honda city cos it's cheaper.

its funny the prices in malaysia is kind of lopsided.
was reading in reviews overseas just yesterday

Megane RS 250 vs Golf GTI

in malaysia its 260k vs 200k.
overseas they recommend to go for Golf because its a bigger brand, just as fast, 5 doors and better overall R&H, eventhough its way more expensive than the RS sweat.gif
