QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Apr 16 2007, 11:17 AM) ur nicky picky aout food ah? my fifi currently no lah, coz din feed her anything else besides her kibbles. Treats are kibbles also, haah......... Nicky likes human food.. actually i know i'm not supposed to feed him.. but he will hypnotize me with his pityful My fifi also noti, when at home, become king, go out, timid...... When see ppl, the tail wag none stop!!! keep on jumping!! One thing i dun like is that my fifi is like a living vacum cleaner. She'll suck up everything small on the floor, dirt, dust, insect, tissue paper............very dirty lah.... For others, still problem on house breaking ur shih tzu?? Mine sometimes will pee on the right spot, sometimes pee on floor. Dunno she did it on purpose or wat..... |

i think nicky already pass his puppy stage and most of the time i only give him 1 or 2 small-tiny-itsy-bitsy pieces jus for him to taste then that's all, no more.. maybe bobo doesn't like the cage/playpen is because she's afraid that u will lock her inside & she cannot come out to play

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Apr 17 2007, 10:51 AM) About the bread feeding. You see, bread has yeast inside.... and it can bloat in the stomach and gut. So this is why we should take precaution when feeding bread. The best is to not feed any. Oh ok, i better stop giving him bread Have to make him eat only dog food.. QUOTE(Syrian @ Apr 17 2007, 10:56 AM) A very good idea to train dogs to pee poo in cage wor. AT least he won't step on his urine .. hehehe .. Some more, he kenot play with newspaper .. nicky's cage is only a very common cage where i think u can get it at any petshop.. actually the cage is only for him to pee or poo QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Apr 17 2007, 11:59 AM) er....what cod liver oil?? those for humans one also can ah?? Like Seven Sea cod liver oil capsule?? Yea can we feed them wtih the Seven Seas cod liver oil? If can i might wana try.. only worry that he doesn't want to eat I now give my fifi NutriStat (if not mistaken the name), a toothpaste-like supplement, the petshop ppl say good wor..... |

QUOTE(jtl @ Apr 17 2007, 04:29 PM) I'm a pet shop where is your shop? promo a bit la Anyways, to answer your question, one of my shih tzus eats Eagle Pack and the other eats Canidae. QUOTE(t3ngt3ng @ Apr 17 2007, 04:35 PM) i did feed bobo wit RC b4. as mentioned, the ingredients which u found on website r diff frm wat u c on the package sold. if u check the 1st ingredient is rice n not meat, n it contains BHA n perservative. so i stop feeding bobo wit RC n change to Innova. Canidae is quite good..but i duno where to buy it Nicky eating innova now.. but doesn't seem to like it.. always eats about 3/4 den dont wana eat anymoreQUOTE(kimmie @ Apr 17 2007, 04:45 PM) threadstarter should put a list of ppl owing shih tzu and recommend links and food/shampoo for shih tzu:) just my recommendation great.. so i can see what other choices of dog food i have |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Apr 17 2007, 05:16 PM) RC is a top super premium dogfood.... so to compare with holistic, hard lah but generally holistic dogfood is the best. thanx crazymouse, will take note of those dog food I would recommend eaglepack, innova, go natural, evolve, canidae, nutriedge and california natural but then california natural is lower in oil and also doesn't taste that nice, so picky dogs would have a problem eating it hahahah You cal always buy the normal cod liver pills.... what I do is take a knife, poke a hole or make a slit and squeeze out all the oil onto the food and mix it and give my dog to eat. QUOTE(kimmie @ Apr 17 2007, 05:21 PM) i have pm threadstarter regarding suggestion also to include suggest links and grooming saloon Added on April 17, 2007, 5:29 pm ![]() GUESS WHO CURI CURI SLEEP ON BEAN BAG? |

The silver one which is known as Innova Evo is super tasty but a bit pricey la. Innova Evo is very good food. QUOTE(joanalooidog @ May 5 2007, 12:54 AM) If u haven start yet, go to a vet and do a blood test for heartworm first. U tell the vet they know lah.... the last time nicky took it was 5 months ago.. and the vet say only need to take once a year If the result is negative, then can give heartworm tablet every month. If result is positive, then sorry lah, cannot give heartworm prevention tablet, but need to start heartworm medication. I'm sure if u ask the vet, they will explain to u one lah. |
