mayb u can try 2 put some food near da place he sleep so when he wakes up he can hv his food without kacau-ing u..

my case was the same too..xun xun came 2weeks ago, she bite till i wake up everyday 7am cun cun..i wondered y n i asked da breeder, he say he owez wake up at 6.30am 2 feed them, den clean their face [tear stains, teeth]..
so they're kinda used 2 da schedule d..

its like dat 1 la..puppy's suppose 2b playful..
if he's not u should be worried den..

i think 4 puppy, they're growing, so i giv them food 3times per day.
1 meal 1 bowl.
every morning 1 slice cottage cheese + 4 chic flavour vitamins
den nite after they finish their last bowl of food i'll giv them 1 piece of snack each. like reward.

i woke up this morning, my room was fulled wif newspapers.
lil xun-xun went n chew my newspapers i left on da floor..
so damn messy now..

they owez chew my kitchen paper..
swt la..
y they like papers?

bread n fruits r ok..
but shouldnt b feeding candy floss, although i love candy floss..
they're not suppose 2 take human food, like last time i oso giv kfc hot n spicy 2 jack-jack, later oni learnt dat chicken bones will kill a dog.
so now concentrating on oni dog food n treats.

flix u tried giving dog treats?

last time i use 2 hv a mind set of "dogs r suppose 2 eat bones"..
den hun posted da article bout chicken bones killing dogs..saw da same issue in another forum too..onli i reaslise dat i was wrong..
now 2months without kfc, his skin n fur improved a lot.

lucky nth happend 2 him..
if i were 2 feed them bones, other than raw chicken neck which is ok to feed too?

Added on May 29, 2007, 12:28 pmerm..my case of feeding milk wif kibbles, da poo will turn out wattery n smelly. very soft.

r u feeding milk dat r meant 4 humans?
HL milk, lowfat, dutch lady..
those can kill a dog if i'm not mistaken..
they can oni take the milk from the mother, or the milk sold in pet shops specially for dogs.

u giv her plain rice? how come she eats?

erm i think u can mix da rice + lil sugar + some kibbles/wet food..
cos rice n sugar itself is not enuf for the nutrition needed by da puppy..
how old is she?
if she's more than 2 n half months, i'll say not 2 feed milk every meal d.
milk is for younger pups who r seperated from their mother or they r too addicted 2 milk. so u can feed a lil amount of milk, after of before she finish the rice. in a very small amount so she can slowly get used 2 food other than milk, it'll not b so troublesome 4 u den.

hv 2 use hair dryer 4 jack jack cos it'll look messy without blowing it.
normally oni take bath once a week for puppies, cos its easy 4 them 2 catch cold.

once a week..
jack jack is now 7months old, i'll bathe him bout twice a week, depending on da weather. cos sometimes very hot i sked he sick so i'll bathe him twice a week. normally bout 5days once.

did u pour cold water on to his head?
i think most of the shih tzus don like their head wet.
so nex time when u bathe him, try 2 wet da back part, shampoo it, den oni do da head quick.
try 2 use warm water..

etc groomer, pet shop owner or wat..

try 2 calm him down, den giv him a treat everytime he behaves good after da bath.
same goes 2 da comb session, he gets treats if he is well behaved.

its operant conditioning, where if u do good u get treats, u do bad u'll get spanked. sooner or later they'll unstd wat 2 do n wat not 2 do..

same like jack jack, he got cubit-ed by da groomer in front of me, cos he din wanna stay still.
y they owez go beserk after their shower ar..jack jack n xun xun oso like dat..like after shower = new self.

jack's eyes surrounding is now bleeding.
he kept scratching da parts near his eyes n nose after da grooming.
brought him 2 da vet, again, ok d, jus some inflamation. new hairstyle very itchy, da vet says.. *phew*

i think shave da face d itchy den he scratch very hard.
