my kinnect voice recognition is not working properly ..... Anywone know to solve

Did u check ur language locale in system settings? You have to set your language locale to US.

YES I HAVE PUT MY LOCATE IN UNATED STATES AND language : eNgLiSh but its not working

How could you calibrate without voice identification? If kinect is working, you pass that calibration test.

Does it do things different than what you say, or it doesnt understand your commands?

Please read up on xbox101 on kinect section on the dashboard when connected to xlive. Theres also a section on 'The kinect Show' hosted by Bridget explaining the basics of kinect .

First of all this how kinect works,

1. Kinect voice only works when you run the kinect app
2. Kinect only recognizes a few commands, ie, "xbox, play disc."

But this will be improved in the new dashboard updates coming this month that integrate kinect in default dashboard with more commands.

Just to add on, so far only US and JP live account can access the voice recognition. I have 3 accounts and only SG does not work.

XBL singapore is lacking behind. if you have a US gt in your console, you might able to download the patch and use it for SG gt.

Using JP acc. Else how I can use my kinect voice recognition.

JP acc marketplace isnt it overpriced. Somehow US gt provide the most services out there.

Games buy from SG/US. My acc I can swap up and down. Not fix on one.

Just for using voice recognition, I swap over to US/JP to use. Game wise, depends on the game lo. Things are flexible. I don't really care much for the achievement. All I seek is the games and enjoyment from it. Mostly on SG since downloads are faster. But updates and stuff, I check over US.

Yeah my Kinect doesn't recognize my voice.I use Singapore account.Will it have any effect if I change the locale and language even when I'm using a Singapore account?Or does the Singapore region really can't use Voice Recognition???

SG region does not support voice recognition if you are signed in.

Actually, voice recognition will work no matter what region you are in as long as you are not signed in. This is what I found out when I lug my box to a friend's house and not connected to the net.

SG account cannot access to Kinect Voice command, eventhough the console is SG set...
At first, I also don't understand why Kinect voice recognizer did not work..Then, I created US account, set my Kinect Audio to US language, then it works...I wish my SG account can access to voice control for Xbox Dashboard..

That's really sucks.I mean of course I wanna use my SG account all the time seeing that THAT is the account that I paid my gold membership for.Anyone knows when SG can use the Kinect Voice Recognition?

not sure. i doubt they will do it. Its kinda weird, sg account are the one left out in it. most countries allow voice reg.

That really sucks bro.Kinda racist too I think ...Like even when PSN is down,it's always us in South East Asia that gets one of the last treatment.I mean they "REVIVED" the PSN for most of the other countries first then us.I WANT TO SPEAK TO MY KINECT USING MY SG ACCOUNT!

worst, the complimentary games are like PSN backyard games, while the US/EU cuntries received Retail games.

back to topic, the XBL SG is rather small team, and slow. Rumor said that they will incooperate mandarin voice recgonization. That i kinda doubt now since HK kinect only support english.

Well I hope that they will support English too.I mean I'm learning Mandarin but I'm really bad at it lol.
