So I have a CM 590 case that is pretty good in ventilation but it is a dust magnet too. Now I would like to clean it but I not sure can I use a hairdryer (that can blow cold air) or vacumm cleaner to blow away the dust? I scare they will make my parts got static charge and toast my PC when turned on.

compressed air can r sold in ACE HArdware, rm35 per can
safe for use to clean pc, im using it

btw, its not safe to use vacuum cleaner for cleaning circuit boards
the moving air may create static electricity n kill ur pc

another suggestion is just use feather duster or brush will do the trick. if some corners of the case that the brush unable to reach then try to blow with your own mouth lightly. smile.gif

the way to blow the dust using high speed blower, is to HOLD the gpu or cpu fan, not to let it spin freely when you blow with it.. if not the fan will get damage

I have been using both the compressed air can and vacuum since 1993.
Malaysia have high humidity so NOT much worries on static electricity unless you're in an air-con room and carpeted!

do it in the toilet, the humidity there will prevent any static build up.
