Look , you can't compare Internet here and say in Australia. In Australia , I was paying $59.99 (Aussie dollars) for 24Mbps/1Mbps Telstra ADSL2+ 50GB of quota. Everything is counted , by middle of the month , I am capped - 64Kbps . Internet is still cheaper here , compare to say Australia.But the word "illegal" already explained it all. You must understand Malaysia is a developing country , putting a cap is going to hurt a lot of people. However there must be some sort of control or measure needed to prevent people from abusing the Internet.
Having said that all , Australia has a lot of regional content servers , so meaning that traffic flows within the country , and not much out of the country. However its still counted towards your usage !
