is it necessary to change to default router to mikrotik/asus router? will it improve the stability of the connection?
the reason i asked is i am having problem when i play my ps3 online, COD:MW3 to be exact. i can connect to a friend's party but always dc-ed from the party when we were in public lobbies. have no problems with private party tho'. i've set DMZ to my PS3 and I still get NAT Type 2. From what I understand, if you have router, you will always get NAT Type 2. You can't get NAT Type 1 unless you connect directly to the modem. i hope i understand it correctly. i've ran speedtest on both unifi site and speedtest.net, all seems ok 4.XXMbps UL/DL but on PS3 i will get 4.XXMbps DL and 2.XXMbps UL. i've been suggested to get the mikrotik, but the thing is, i can't figure out the cause of my problem. getting the mikrotik is not a problem, as long as i know what causing it. this problem occurred since last week, before that, i have no problem or whatsoever. maybe it caused by the game server? |

No one said the blame solely on the heavy downloader. I know I didn't say it.
But the word "illegal" already explained it all. Deny it as much as you want, tho. |

Nope. You just putting words into my mouth. You can quote me as much as you want. You can proof to the world that I blamed everything to heavy downloader - because I dont care.
The fact that heavy torrent downloader (like you i assume based on your defensive act), still doesn't change the fact that it causes the internet to be sluggish and expensive. And the fact that contents were downloaded illegally, still doesn't make you the champion either. So, go ahead. Report me if you wish. |
