Hi guys ... just wondering if anyone has any guide for port forwarding? I think all of us are using the same router provided by TM right ? D-Link DIR 615 ? I checked portforwarding.com, don't have that model number.
What do we fill in for the private ip and public ip? And how to check whether a port is successfully open or not ? Someone mentioned http://www.canyouseeme.org/? Just go that site and enter the port number and enter is it ? If the result is :
Error: I could not see your service on xxxxxxxxxxxxx on port (xxxxx)
That means the portforwarding failed?
Not sure whether you faced the same problem as me but heres a guide to bridge the Dlink Router and use your own router config. I needed to do this cause the crappy unifi router didnt support NAT loopback. To sum up internal port forwarding wont work. What do we fill in for the private ip and public ip? PS i just got Unifi installed for my folks today and gosh its fast, I reckon its even faster than the net Ihave back in Australia!
One question tho, Hows the 10mb/20mb package compared to the 5mb package? is there a major difference? Thanks.
OH yeah, can any1 tell me whether i got ripped? I paid RM1250 for installation. was pretty long tho, and was considered to be non overhead, "tucked" into the gutter.
