Hi guys ... just wondering if anyone has any guide for port forwarding? I think all of us are using the same router provided by TM right ? D-Link DIR 615 ? I checked portforwarding.com, don't have that model number.

What do we fill in for the private ip and public ip? And how to check whether a port is successfully open or not ? Someone mentioned http://www.canyouseeme.org/? Just go that site and enter the port number and enter is it ? If the result is :

Error: I could not see your service on xxxxxxxxxxxxx on port (xxxxx)

That means the portforwarding failed?

Private IP is your local IP a.k.a Internal IP, the IP you assigned to the particular laptop/desktop/devices to be port forwarded. Public IP i left blank. Public Port and Private Port are the same thing. Yes, use canyouseeme.org to verify.

How do you check the Internal IP ? Is it under network connection details "IPv4 Address" ?
