Regular Senior Member 1,400 posts Joined: Feb 2006	Hi guys ... just wondering if anyone has any guide for port forwarding? I think all of us are using the same router provided by TM right ? D-Link DIR 615 ? I checked portforwarding.com, don't have that model number. What do we fill in for the private ip and public ip? And how to check whether a port is successfully open or not ? Someone mentioned http://www.canyouseeme.org/? Just go that site and enter the port number and enter is it ? If the result is : Error: I could not see your service on xxxxxxxxxxxxx on port (xxxxx) That means the portforwarding failed?

Public IP i left blank. Public Port and Private Port are the same thing. Yes, use canyouseeme.org to verify. How do you check the Internal IP ? Is it under network connection details "IPv4 Address" ?
