hi guys, im not much of ICE Freak.

im using MOHAWK active subwoofer, just bought a couple of months ago, traded in with my china brand active subwoofer, named altic or altec(not altec lansing for sure) got warranty. blue light.


tis new MOHAWK doesnt really provide the punch as my old active ( really sad as i thought the MOHAWK is a reputable brand..thinking of selling of. (what i meant by punch is u can really feel the bass pounding) on high volumes and low, especially ncie with RCA.

any recommendations? of which brand..just thought of trading in... what i would do to get the old woofer back the shop said gone already.

budget below 800 .. -trade in.


*not looking for backseat woofer as space is required

Mohawk is a reputable local cap ayam brand at best

My suggestion, get a real sub that is slim.. Ie domination, rockford p3, ken wood slim sub just to name a few. Get those u need with the lowest box requirement. Then u can ask ur installer to make the sub box that fits under ur seat... Any active sub will not perform like a real sub IMO.

oh ...so is that a good thing?

btw tweeked the settings abit...can feel the bass..but its not thumping hard enough at my butt compared to my old woofer..

decent sounding only..need more bass PUNCH! selling off at rm500 btw lol
