You're like trying to compare the gaming performance of a PC's quad core versus a dual core when the dual core one could win purely on a gaming standpoint if it had a better GPU than the quad-core machine. Its as simple as that. One other thing - iOS is a lot more smoother than Android - this is a no brainer, at least in its current form Android 2.x is slower than iOS but i think Android 4.0 / Ice Cream Sandwich with its handware acceleration enabled by default should either knock the iOS performance out of the ballpark or at least be on par with it.
