Alright, here would be my honest review about FICB. Hopefully it'll be a good read for the potential buyers out there. Beware though, it might be a TL;DR version to some of you guys over here.

Firstly, I would like to make a brief intro on my ride.

Car Model: Perodua Kembara yr 2000 HC-EJ Automatic Transmission (non-DVVT).

Modifications Before Installing FICB:
1) Erictioh VS + Grounding Cables. I'm quite sure there are some potential buyers out there whom are afraid of this combo would give negative impact to the FICB but I can comply that it won't be giving you any trouble. In fact, my vehicle runs smoothly as it used to be. Thus, I'd safely presume that other combo of VS + Grounding Cables should be working fine with the FICB as well.

2) K&N Drop In Air Filter.

3) Modded exhaust sytem; 4-1 White Steel Extractor, De-cat + 2 bullets.

4) Pronto Plug Cables.

5) Converted to 2WD; FR based as of now.

So, here goes my story of this FICB gizmo. It was first plugged into my old ride last month; yea it has been running smoothly up till now and no issues so far. Actually, I drove all the way up to Penang to look up for TS; Mr.Peter to get some modifications done on my FICB as well as to get his aid on the installation (yea I'm suck when it comes to electronic gizmos doh.gif) I pumped full tank at my hometown; KL and started my foreveralone trip. Bear in mind, it was a 100% highway trip up to Penang and maintained 100km/h averagely throughout the journey without any stop; RPM was reading 3600 rpm @ 100km/h. In order to test out the true colour of the FICB, I decided to refilled my tank to the full level at Penang Island; it was showing 12.22km/l. Well, its a fuel guzzler so I was pretty expected with the outcome. After that, I meet up with Mr.Peter at Tesco Jelutong to get all the stuffs done. He's a really nice chap and very friendly indeed. In fact, we chatted for quite some time over there (from daylight till night laugh.gif) before we decided to dismiss from the venue. I wanted to tag him along for dinner but he wasn't really convenient back then and I gotta make my way back to KL on the same day too !! Of course, I managed to obtained some valuable tips from Mr.Peter (in fact, I should've called him as Uncle Peter lah... laugh.gif) and a great thanks for the tips.

Ok now, lets focus on the returning trip back to KL. As usual, its going to be another full highway trip but with a couple of city travelling made on top of that. Again, I maintained my speed at 100km/h throughout the highway journey without any stop and sucessfully reached my home in 4 hours. On the next day, I travelled from my home to Shah Alam to carry out my usual errand and back again. By now, the fuel meter is showing near to empty tank and thus I've decided to refill again. The result was a satisfactory gain and clocked at 13km/l.

Conclusion:

- FC improved.

- Definitely enhance the overall performance of your vehicle; by not having to step so much on the accelerator.

- Gearbox shifting feels slightly smoother and not as laggy as it used to be.

- Seller is a very friendly chap / Uncle laugh.gif

- No interference on your radio channel, Voltage Stabilizer & Grounding Cables.

To the potential buyers out there, a great thanks for your precious time and patience for reading my humble review. To TS, its a great product overall and I'm a satisifed customer of yours smile.gif

P/S: Bring me to the good eateries on my next visit to Penang and we sama-sama enjoy the food biggrin.gif. Give me a buzz once you are in KL and i'll get you some nice food in KL. Till then, good luck to your sales !!
