QUOTE(lucidlts @ Jan 1 2012, 10:16 AM) brown will do. blue might be a bit noisy if u ask why. err, sorry, i'm noob, what is a linear switch?Y U NO like linear switch?! what the... anyway, from my statistics shows that more & more people are into brown switch compared to the other switch. My statistics: Brown > Black > Red> Blue no Clear switches. lol QUOTE(storm88 @ Jan 1 2012, 10:41 AM) Any mechanical keyboard can be your first mechanical keyboard. But if you say about Back lid keyboard, its between Razer and Ducky 9008S. Then i would suggest you to go after Ducky Shining If non back lid keyboard which is good?Actually I tried Razer black widow ultimate, and I love the feeling of typing on it. Others I dun have any chance to try it, no shop selling them. but razer doesnt seem to be good at mechanical keyboard, so I am looking for other~ BTW, razer black widow ultimate is using what switch? QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Jan 1 2012, 10:50 AM) It's all depends on your personal preferences, some may find it worth, while others find it not worth. but please make research before making purchase, after all, it is your hard earn money. so don't rush it. I'm kinda rushing to get one because my friend coming back from Taiwan and wanna ask him to bring back for me, since it is cheaper there~ XD |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Jan 4 2012, 07:58 PM) i don't particularly looking forward for backlit stuff, and about transparent keycap being rare. I mean for now. Is it mean that I should pick FILCO Majestouch-2 instead of ducky shinning?Since those thing are slowly growing in this market and getting more and more common, why pay premium just because the stuff is rare for now, and slowly getting common and cheap in future.(example : keyboard with backlit) Well, it's just my point of view thou. Because sooner or later, modding will be getting common and easier with guides and stuff. and KBC keep pumping out all kinds of keycap and going on for further mass production. For me, i'll sit and cross my finger, and wait for the ultimate keycap that is suitable for backlit.(i don't want the current transparent keycap with coating seriously >_>, They don't last long in my usage. ) |

QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Feb 2 2012, 08:43 AM) If your keyboard comes with a box, then he should double box it. Thx bro, but where can buy bubble wrap? Also wrap a ton of bubble wrap around the original box, 2 layers at the very least. Make sure customs declaration is clearly written. No tax for keyboards, but don't want to waste time visiting Ketam office neither. EMS can arrive within 3 - 4 working days. Parcel may take up to 2 weeks. Hope this helps. my friend come back from taiwant and left my keyboard there...lol... now hav to wait him go back n post to me... |

QUOTE(kEazYc @ Feb 11 2012, 12:48 PM) If its red switches, then it will be red switches, there is no saying like "good red switches or bad". I think "good red switches" is mean good keyboard with red switches...lolCex is selling the Ducky Shine Red switches at RM469, DK9008G2 PBT keycaps red switch is RM439. Not all keyboard has the full NKRO support under PS/2, but nothing to worry about if its Ducky. |
