Any mechanical keyboard can be your first mechanical keyboard. But if you say about Back lid keyboard, its between Razer and Ducky 9008S. Then i would suggest you to go after Ducky Shining

It's all depends on your personal preferences, some may find it worth, while others find it not worth. but please make research before making purchase, after all, it is your hard earn money. so don't rush it.

i don't particularly looking forward for backlit stuff, and about transparent keycap being rare. I mean for now.

Since those thing are slowly growing in this market and getting more and more common, why pay premium just because the stuff is rare for now, and slowly getting common and cheap in future.(example : keyboard with backlit)

Well, it's just my point of view thou. Because sooner or later, modding will be getting common and easier with guides and stuff. and KBC keep pumping out all kinds of keycap and going on for further mass production.

Also wrap a ton of bubble wrap around the original box, 2 layers at the very least.

If its red switches, then it will be red switches, there is no saying like "good red switches or bad".

Cex is selling the Ducky Shine Red switches at RM469, DK9008G2 PBT keycaps red switch is RM439.

Not all keyboard has the full NKRO support under PS/2, but nothing to worry about if its Ducky.
